Strengths: Controlled in loose dirt
Long lasting
Give good feel of the trackWeaknesses: Heavy (Some times you must bunny hop stuff!!!) so dont use for XC.
Hard compound is very slipery on wet rocks and roots.Bottom Line: These tires are great in the loose stuff and mud and go where you point them, the hard compound makes the tires last for ages but they don't grip wet rock and roots. These tires are stiff and send a lot of vibration through to the bike so you tend to run them a bit low which ups the number of pinch flats a bit, but better than tioga's. I got mine on sale and they were good value but I probably would not pay the full price because i am soooo poooor!!!!

Strengths: this thing replaced the awful wtb that the bike came with, and it is just fantastic!! grip is excellent,it hangs on to everything like you're stuck to it...yes,it's that good.huge knobs.no pinchs yet.Weaknesses: none yet...Bottom Line: i'd been told by about half a dozen downhill/free ride types to give this tyre a go,and, wow, were they right about it! yes,i love the thing.it's chunky.it hangs on through corners, and when it does drift it's predictable and controlable...maybe a 2.5 would be nice? it's nice to know it's going to get you through that corner up ahead, just a little bit faster, and a lot more predictably than that old thing you've got now.

Bottom Line: A great tyre for loam. Reasonable for rock and poor for mud. Good value for money but doesn't grip like a big gazzalodi. Possible to cut away some of the side lobes to make a pseudo-mud tyre. Preferred on rear as side and centre lobes dig into soft sediment. Mind you, I haven't tried it yet on soft sand.

Strengths: You name itWeaknesses: Could be a little cheaper.Bottom Line: Well, Lets see!!!! I bought these tyres yesterday and raced Dual Slalom today. These tyres rocked for it. There was no concern about washing out at all (Especially compared to my Tiogas). It was my first race and I managed to end up around the middle of the field. Mainly thanks to these tyres. Just go out and bu them.

Strengths: Stiff side knobs, good transition area, bites well, awesome under braking. Front or rear, who cares?Weaknesses: Weak sidewall, there are better tyres out there for less folding stuff.Bottom Line: I'm always varying the pressure in this sucker... it works really well in soily conditions pumped up pretty hard, 65 psi+, but in gravely hardpack, works better at about 35 - 40, it's a matter or personal preference I guess...
It's so far been a predictable tyre, with high speed washout easy to control... basically, you point it, it goes.
I ride this tyre nearly every day, and so far havent had any gripes. It suite casual and agressive riding styles. Slap one on, check it out...

Strengths:
Great grip, firm sidewall, Front or rear use, not a crappy specific tire.Weaknesses:
heavy, not pinch flat resistant, but what really is?Bottom Line: Good tire for the buck, too bad it's so heavy as it's the only tire I use, for DH, XC or shore type riding.
