Strengths:    Great Value, Strong construction, great support on the sole area, comfortable and cool (and i mean it, here is like summer all year long and they feel great!)

Weaknesses:    A little bit heavy than more expensive counterparts.

Bottom Line:
These were my first pair of cycling specific shoes, and i was looking for nothing too expensive to start using eggbeaters pedals. And i thought i would have to buy something more expensive later on, WRONG! They lasted 4 years of non stopping riding on every condition there is here in PR without any problem. Non of the stitches got loose, the sole still has a nice grip, and they have outlasted 2 crank sets and a fork. For 75 bucks i couldn't be more satisfied with their performance. So if you are looking for something strong, and don't mind choosing strength over a couple of grams in weight this pair of shoes are PERFECT!

Strengths:    good looking, aggresive thread form toe to heel for gripping pedals and hiking, nice brace and protection. low price

Weaknesses:    could use more ventilation during hot days

Bottom Line:
I was looking for a replacement for beloved Shimano M150 and found this in bike shop, caught my eyes by its good looking, the snug fit and enclosure. No problem clip-in a fat platform style spd (M535) and great for stepping on the pedals if you unclipped on technical downhill while my 'racy' Diadora, PI, and Vittoria will likely to slip (plastic mid-arch). Have not riden in hot summer day but I would like to have more ventilation fabric for that matter.

Definately recommended for trail,XC and even freeride purpose, I have other lighter shoes for XC race.
