Date Reviewed: July 8, 2000 | | Favorite Trail: | bedframe | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | its a cheap shock that works really good when its working. | | Weaknesses: | i keep getting this cracking noise but i just had it adjusted to far out and the spring was getting traped witch would make this loud cracking noise. so i adjusted the shock in wow way better. until the cracking noise came back. i now have basically no rear travel (0.25) but on the good side it works well. but for a freerider you need something more than that. | | Similar Products Used: | fox/rs/stratos. | | Bike Setup: | marin alpine trail with drop offs roox bar hope brakes sun double wides s&m pedals azonic stem etc. | | Bottom Line: | if you want a really plush (0.25) of travel this is the shock for you. but if u want a full suspension and u arent some crazy x-country racer than u should probably look for something else. | | Value Rating:Overall Rating: |

the intermitant failure of this product ruined what would have been a top day out.
it appears that the damping circuit is failing, cause unknown.

Cheap, Adjustable compression and rebound damping. CNC machined so it looks tough! Raceline(cheap Intense copy), ZZYZX, Single chainring | | Bottom Line: | Blew up the RST (again) on last practise run before a race, fitted the Shockworks and the bike immediatly felt more balanced and more rigid. Went well in the race run (6KM lots of fast fire road and speed bumps braking bumps and tussock grass singletrack). Love the adjustability the feel and the price. | | Overall Rating: |
