Strengths:
Great on big hits.Weaknesses:
Oil weight too heavy. Lack of adjustability. No small bump compliancyBottom Line: Seems good until you ride a real shock, like the NR-4.

Strengths:
Realiable,low maintenance, has a coil over so you can get home in an emergencyWeaknesses:
Squeeks like crazy, lack of adjustability.Bottom Line: The shock works, it's freakin' noisy, the lack of adjustability just doesn't do it for me. Finding an upgrade is tough because of the proflex thread in bolt instead of an eyelet type on the swing arm. I've heard wonderful things about the NR1 and NR4, time to check em out.

Oil dampening, sturdyWeaknesses:
heaviness, mushiness, no adjustmentsBottom Line: This shock is good for a couple of months, but it feels like it has lost its springiness, even though I put soft speed springs on the back. It feels mushy and doesn't rebound that well, and there is not one adjustment you can do, except for preload which doesnt work. I'm looking into buying and AD-10 or AD-5 and heard they are really nice. E-mail me if you have any experience with these shocks. 3 flaming dead horses
