Strengths: Very reliable, nice damping control.Weaknesses: Not indestructibleBottom Line: I think that with the amount of beating I've given this poor shock over the past 2 and 1/2 years, it has performed above and beyond the call of duty. The bike and me together weigh in at about 250 lbs. I've subjected this shock to a viscious downhill thrashing on a weekly, or bi-weekly basis for that time, and it has performed beautifully. The bike park at Whistler finally proved its undoing. As a cross-country shock, this is a beauty, and had I stuck to that it would still be serving me well. It finally blew out, but I'm amazed at how long it has lasted.

Strengths: low price, good suspension work, good adjustment
not too heavyWeaknesses: looses air(not that much)Bottom Line: I bought a komplete bike and they offered dmn a01 as rear shock.Did`nt ride too long but the first impression was better than expected. It feel`s good riding it down and up the hill. There is no weakness so far expect the slightly
lost of air.
