I think that with the amount of beating I've given this poor shock over the past 2 and 1/2 years, it has performed above and beyond the call of duty. The bike and me together weigh in at about 250 lbs. I've subjected this shock to a viscious downhill thrashing on a weekly, or bi-weekly basis for that time, and it has performed beautifully. The bike park at Whistler finally proved its undoing. As a cross-country shock, this is a beauty, and had I stuck to that it would still be serving me well. It finally blew out, but I'm amazed at how long it has lasted.
