from LA,CA Date Reviewed: October 5, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | MT. Pinos | | Duration Product Used: | less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Well made, light(375 gr) | | Weaknesses: | No greater platform feel over regular SPD's, would begin to be more difficult to engage if not lubed every ride. | | Similar Products Used: | Ritchy, Bepop, 545's | | Bike Setup: | DBR V8 set up with 4.5 front and back | | Bottom Line: | Was hoping this was a light weight platform that supported when not clicked in. Was too small to give the feel found in the larger platforms. Basically a good pedal, but not the new stellar platform for cross country | Overall Rating: |

from Woodmere, NY Date Reviewed: June 27, 1999 | | Favorite Trail: | eagle rock loop | | Duration Product Used: | 3 months | | Strengths: | Easy to get in and out of, float, NO MUD JAMS!!! | | Weaknesses: | Not enough click when you get in. | | Similar Products Used: | SPD 535's | | Bike Setup: | Giant hard tail | | Bottom Line: | Definetly a cheaper more useful alternative to those other mud shedding designs. I heard from many friends of mine that there was always a problem with there Speedplay's or Time's. I saw an ad for these, so I tried them out and they haven't failed me yet. -Matt | Overall Rating: |
