Strengths: Taste, textureWeaknesses: A bit brittle, i.e. breaks or squashes easily when packed in a jersey pocketBottom Line: The best energy bar in the market. Great flavour, easy to chew and digest. I like Clif, too, but UAWUE are much less dense. Shame only that their distribution is limited. If all those sad people who buy up their Powerbars at the supermarket knew what they are missing ...

noneBottom Line: These bars taste like a meal, like real food.
I like Clif bars too but overall I'd rate these bars higher.
For a trip that would include the possibility of damage to my improperly packed luggage I'd take some Powerbars (banana) because even though they taste bad they don't break. But for the othe 99% of my life, UAWYE bars are the best thing out there.

Strengths:
Great Tasting
Easy to digestWeaknesses:
NoneBottom Line: I recently won a box of You are What You Eat bars from Bicycling Magazine. They are probably the best tasting energy bars currently on the market. They are easy to digest so you don't have to swig down half a waterbottle. My wife who hates the taste of conventional energy bars keeps stealing these bars on me.

Bottom Line: Our Dining Hall at Cornell received a couple of boxes as a promotion, so I snagged some of each flavor. I first tried one as an energy booster to keep me studying, and it worked, but, more importantly, it tasted good. On the bike, it was easy to get down, and keep down. Including the information that the bars are Kosher in their advertising was a great idea, because it let me and some of my friends who bike (we oly eat Kosher) know about the product. There aren't many Kosher energy bars out there, so it was a big deal when this came out. Just one point - although the ads say the bars are Parve (not meat or dairy), one flavor (I think it's blueberry) is dairy (something about how they proccess the fruit). A great product and a great company.

Strengths:
The bars are very tasty and digestible while riding/training, and maintain their texture in all weather conditions. Very healthy.Weaknesses:
I like a little more protein on long rides, but those bars never taste as good. This is a good compromise.Bottom Line: Highly recommended for picky eaters and people with a sensitive stomach during exertion. Everyone else will like them too, unless you hate all these energy bars and then there's no helping you.

Really great tasting. energy bar. I like the brownie like texture. Its a great instant breakfast, afternoon quick pick me up, and a perfect pre race snack.Bottom Line: This is the best tasting, low fat, energy bar I have tried. I highly recommend it. The four different flavors are great. The Blue Berry & Apple Cinnamon are perfect morning Snacks. The Peanut Butter Bar is a great afternoon snack and the Chocolate is a great bed time treat!

Strengths:
Great Taste (all flavors - don't have to water it down)
Great Texture (actually appetizing)
Great for you (got it all)
Stands up to heat/getting stuffed in CamelBackWeaknesses:
NoneBottom Line: The best bar I've tried so far. I don't even have to wash it down with water (ie- Power Bar, Clif Bar, etc.). The flavors and consistency are great and I actually look forward to eating a bar in the middle of a ride instead of knowing I should try to choke one (of the other brands) down. I'd recommend these over any other based on the my happy eating experiences.

NoneBottom Line: The YouAreWhatYouEat bar is about the best tasting bar I have tried. The texture is flaky and moist. It's like eating cake (AppleCinnamon). All the flavors are very good. The nutritional value is very high also. Definately worth trying. It replaces the cookies in my lunch.
