Bottom Line:

Pocket Rockets taste OK, but my big gripe is that when you are in a race and try to eat one fast by holding the pack lightly with your teeth and then pulling the pack out of your mouth (the quick way to eat gel's), the package cuts the crap out of the sides of your mouth. While you look real ferocious with blood coming out of both corners of your mouth, it hurts like hell. The Gu pack is the best for getting the contents our quick.

I love this stuff! I like the taste better than Gu. I don't even bother with Power (fart) bars any more.
The first time I tried a Pocket Rocket was after a big ride in Winter Park. I had the one with Guarana. I drove REAL FAST back to Denver. Maybe it is an individual thing, but the Guarana effects me like LOTS of caffeen.

I already reviewed the GU and wasn't too impressed. My girlfriend was tired of me making a mess in the kitchen trying to make my own gel so she ordered me 30 packets of sports pep pocket rocket. It is basically the same stuff. Even the nutrients is the same. But you can mailorder 30 of them for a little less than 24 GU's.
