Strengths: Easy to digest, puts fuel in your motor. Lots of carbs for the $$$ compared to gel packs. Tastes good
Weaknesses: Takes a water bottle spot on your bike.
Bottom Line:
Great stuff for long rides. I get about 5-6 hours of riding on a water bottle of this stuff mixed at full strength. One water bottle at full strength is about 700 callories & 200 gm carbs. No stomach problems, and also helps keep you hydrated. Kind of a pain for shorter rides though. If I'm riding < 2 hours I don't bother to mix and carry it, I'll use gu's instead. Would probably use it for shorter rides if I had a smaller flask/bottle to stuff in my jersey.
