Strengths:    Cheap,
easy to carry and install
provides good amount of light for a VERY short time
The light part is nice and sturdy

Weaknesses:    - VERY low battery life, and it goes down over time
- POOR battery case. and the velcro straps are obnoxious
- not water resistant, let alone waterproof

Bottom Line:
Bad choice. provides good light for about first 30 minutes and then it goes down really REALLY (and did I mention REALLY) quickly. It so happend that I had to carry another pack of C batteries in every ride. Cause, I did not know when they are going to give up.

if you look for a good light loof for something else. this is not worth it. waste of money.

May be with some GOOD bateries they will work for a cauple of hours. So, if you rearly bike in the dark, and need something for once a year after sunset riding, you may consider this.

Strengths:    Good amount of light for the money

Weaknesses:    Uses up batterys quickly

Bottom Line:
For 30$ this thing produces a great amount of light. Though you MUST use high quality akaline batterys. Walgreens brand will not last a couple hours constant use. Battery life kinda sucks for day to day commuting no matter what you use. Its perfect if your on the budget and know you will need to ride a pitch black trail a few times.
