This helmet is a great helmet for the the money. I bought mine for only $45. It has got a comfortable fit
and the design is very stylish. My only complaint is that the roc-loc sometimes comes off when riding,
which can be very annoying, especially while racing. It's almost the same as the more expensive ones.
The extra weight doesn't really bother me at all.

I had the same problem with the rock lock thing. I glued a couple of velcro patches (about 1.5 inches) near the front headband... works fine now but I don't think I should have had to do it. Perhaps Giro could supply more sticky patches with better glue. Other than that, good value for money & works well

Bottom Line:

I bought this helmet last summer and I think it's a decent helmet. I can't get all that excited about something as basic as a helmet, but I guess it's quite allright. The one thing that is a major setback on this helmet is the rocklock 'lock':-) It doesn't stay where you want it when you go all bumpy down a track. Especially when you're going over 50 Km/h. (Miles/h?) this is VERY annoying! But hey, it's still a good buy.
