Strengths: Very light and comfortable, the padding rarely comes off and lasts forever. The visor is great not only for the sun, but it also does a great job at keeping the rain from hitting your eyes.Weaknesses: Umm.....Bottom Line: This is a great helmet for a great value. The padding lasts forever and rarely comes off. Great for all kinds of riding!

Strengths: It is a helmet and has more foam than holes.Weaknesses: Fit is not so good for me. Not as comfortable as GiroBottom Line: Well, I was riding down the road and was hit by a freight train and killed. Seems I did not read the warnings and continued to use this after a crash because it looked ok. The foam had been crushed and it lost its ability to asorb impact. Of course, it wouldn't have helped with the train anyway.
USed for years, it is ok. It is a bike helmet. pads are better than Giro junk which falls apart quickly. A bear to adjust. The fact that it is not as aerodynamic as others cost me the Tour De France 2 years in a row.

Strengths: 1.price
2.tough builtWeaknesses: 1.ventilation is not adequate
2.visor interferes with your sightBottom Line: considering that the only way to get some air flowing through the vents is to bend your head down and then not being able to see anything because of the visor it's aiiiiight. Although i have to admit that i've used it for quite a while and it took a lot of abuse and still is in working shape

Strengths: still wearable after 3 yearsWeaknesses: Really weak shell, dosent look good, hot, not quite stylinBottom Line: This helmet can take a lot of punishment, i hit a tree head first on a downhill and the helmet didn't crack (my neck still hurt pretty bad though). The outer shell is weak though and will become brittle in the cold and soft in the heat. Its a good helment for recreational riders or downhillers who don't want full face helmet.

Weaknesses: Looks big on my head
My head gets hot after an hour of ridingBottom Line: This helmet has saved my life. I was riding on a slight downhill trail that was unfamilar and caught some air off a mound. The trail makes a sharp right about 15 feet after the mound. In mid-air I paniced and put on my brakes. When I hit the ground I was sent flying head first into a bed of rocks.
The side of my helmet (near the temple) hit a good size rock. After regaining my sight 5 minutes later, I thanked God that I had that helmet on. My helmet has about a half-dollar size dent on the side of it. Aside from looking big on my head and it getting a little to hot, I have to give it 5 flamers. It server its purpose, it kept my big head from being cracked open.

Bad ventilatioin-especially on long rides
strapsBottom Line: This was an ok helet for me. I'm 15 and this was my first mountain bike helmet, but since i,ve crashed on it 4 times (last one my head hit a tree at about 20mph). It can survive a crash and work again, but it doesn't deliver the ventilation and comfort of my new Evo2 which was only 50 bucks!

Bottom Line: Good price serves the purpose of a helmet. My big complaint is it gets a little toasty here in TX. I end up using part of my water just to keep my head cool and that's a waste of water. Especally in hot summer days around here. But hey it serves the purpose and saved my butt once when I flipped over the handle bars down a really steep hill.
