Strengths: Light (423g just the cranks), stiff and they look awesome.
I really abuse them and they take a lot. And even if there is a deeper scratch, it can be polished with a rubber wheel and a dremel, because they have a pretty thick protective clear coat.
Offered as an ISIS and Octalink Version.
Mr. CarbonLord is a extremely nice guy.Weaknesses: None so far. They only bummer for some people might be, that they are only available with 46/34/24.
At least in the current line.
Personally, I like the 46 and 34, gives you more gear ratio and lots of power downhill, when others can't pedal anymore and with a 11-34 in the rear, the steepest hill is not a problem either.
Bottom Line: IMO, this crankset is the best bang for your bucks, especially if you want something cool looking, preferably carbon and light and stiff.
They come with chainrings and mine weighed in at 584g (cranks+spider+chainring-bolts+chainrings 46/34/24).
I tuned the chainrings with a Dremel and got the overall weight down to 543g.
For that weight, you must spend quite some $$$ with other manufacturers.

Strengths: Lifetime Warranty.Weaknesses: None.Bottom Line: I noticed a review below and felt I should clear a few things up. It seems Brendan (who posted below) purchased a crank from Bill's Bike, a company no longer in business (and from what I know, did not manage correctly as has not been around for years). Brendan, I know Bill did not offer any warranty for the cranks he sold and Bill is not affiliated with the CarbonLORD Composites I represent. If you would like a current Carbon Fiber Crank, still in production from a distributor which is the only ever to offer a Lifetime Warranty, please feel free to contact me. I will not warranty a Carbon Crank that is not sold directly from me. Would you purchase a car on say, eBay and then expect your local dealership to service and warranty it? Exactly. Please contact me before you assume and post innacurate information sir. Thank you.

Strengths: Cool looks. Lightweight.Weaknesses: I loved these cranks until they started falling apart! These cranks have a aluminum inserts where the crank connects to the BB and pedals. The insert for the pedal has come loose to the point that you can actually wiggle it. Bad design, should have been one piece of aluminum instead of inserts. I have searched high and low trying to reach customer support but finally gave up. Don't buy these!Bottom Line: Customer support is nonexistent. I think it is a foreign company. I was told they carried a lifetime warranty, but what good is that if you can't contact them! I'd be very wary of these. I have seen other carbon cranks that feature one-piece aluminum insert; I would imagine they would not suffer the same weakness. I think i paid $250. I wish I could have it back!

Strengths: Perfect reliability. Light weight. Good looks. Stiff.Weaknesses: Uhhh I can't think of any.Bottom Line: I'm starting my fourth year on this crankset and it's worked perfectly. It's stiff, creak free, light, and looks so trick.
Nytex cranks are marketed under the FSA name too.

Strengths: Very light, stiff, looks cool, uniqueWeaknesses: none yetBottom Line: I really like these cranks. I bought them to try to shave some weight off my Scalpel, which they certainly do. I also tend to smash gears and need a very stiff crank set, which these are. They work as flawlessly as XTR, are cheaper, cooler, and lighter. I have bashed the @#$* out of them on the rocky, burley trails of the east and have not had a problem at all. I like the fact that they don't scratch. Buy some and abuse them, they are very strong. CarbonLord is very easy to deal with and I would buy another set for my cyclocross bike (which I will).

Bottom Line:
James, It is good to see somebody else that has discovered these Crankset. They are soooooooooooo stiff. This makes a difference in the fact that when I am putting the power down on a climb or on a flat section section or whatever I can tell that none of my power is being wasted. I ordered my Crankset directly from the company. That was before they had an american distibutor. I have only three or four other people with these in my local area. But if you want to stoke your bike out with some great gear these should be on the list. They are also about the best looking set I have ever seen.....carbon is so prettty!!!!! Oh and one last thing James, they are flaming chilis, 5 of them at that. not balls of fire or whatever. :-)Joey
