Strengths:    Looks good.

Weaknesses:    The threads wore out on the right crankarm. I ride bumpy terrain and one day - I know the pedals were on tight - the pedal just gave out. I'm 190 lbs and ride about 5 miles per week tops.

Bottom Line:
They seem rather flimsy to me given the care I've given the bike. I do Xcountry a couple of times a week. I think there must have been something wrong with the aluminum of the crankset. The teeth are also a bit delicate on one of my rings, wearing out like a cavity.

Strengths:    Hard Core design, pretty

Weaknesses:    Strength, it is not the best selection for us larger guys

Bottom Line:
This crank is great, but has given me some trouble! I have broken 2 of them. I am larger though, these are a sweet crank, and they don't run you up the ass like Shimano, due to their different bottom bracket. i am a little hasty about this one!

Strengths:    Stiff, good shifting, good finish.

Weaknesses:    A little chunky for the MSRP.

Bottom Line:
Good cranks. They're stiff, they have some nice details like the self-extracting gizmos. Went on the bike without a snag. The color is cool too, sort of a "polished aluminum wearing sunglasses" luster. Shifting is spot-on with the included rings.

These are up there in the XT-XTR class, with a little different twist.
