Strengths: Cool ideaWeaknesses: WILL NOT ALLOW CARGO DOORS TO OPEN ON SUVBottom Line: From all the literature and reviews I read this system looked the best to me. But when I got the thing home and installed it I couldn't even open the cargo doors on my Yukon. This was without bikes on it and the tire tracks were folded in. I am going to return it and get a Yakima ROC'n'gate. This system might work for a full lift gate but not a drop down gate or double doors.

Strengths: Design, ease of useWeaknesses: Value, QualityBottom Line: While I like the design and ease of use of this product, I don't like the quality of this product. The first one I received from my LBS arrived with a broken gas strut. This may have been caused by the shipper, but still did not do me much good. When I received a replacement, I did notice that the tighter that you tighten the locking bolt, the less movement you get in the product. However, in the three months that I've had it, I've lost a lock in transit, the pin that clicks the hitch in place has sheared in transit, and, although I have applied WD-40 to the unit, it is starting to show signs of rust (yes, I ride in the rain). I have replaced the sheared pin with a standard nut/bolt, but I imagine that at the end of the season, I will return this unit to Thule so that they can repair it under warranty. I just hope that I don't damage my bike at all by continuing to use the rack.

Strengths:
Mounts any Frame and allows for opening SUV rear door with bikes mounted...also, don't have to dissasemble your bike.Weaknesses:
Shakes, Rattles (and Rolls), plastic locking handles cheap, and takes a couple of minutes to mount and dismount.Bottom Line: This is a great rack for unconventional frames (if you can call any frame unconventional now-a-days). I like it the most because I don't have to remove my front wheel. I also really like the locks and buff cable it comes with; it makes securing your rides for a fat-pill break post-ride a breeze. To make this product better, I bought a bike hitch stabilizer from Performanceproducts.com so that the damn thing doesn't shake to hell. I also traded out the bolt that locks the bike mount to the docking mount with a regular bolt with locking washers. Finally, I reinforce the pedal locking hook with bungy cord over the top of the cassette arm...this way I never fear loosing my ride. There are other systems out there which are probably more user friendly; this is a good system if you tweak it a bit.

Plastic tightening knob which pulls down crank on bicycles is kinda cheesey.Bottom Line: I have mounted this on both my Truck and 4-Runner and it does not move at all. The secret is to tighted the locking pin in your receiver hitch with a wrench, not the allen head option on the locking bolt. Also, if you read the instructions carefully, It plainly states quote NOT FOR OFF-ROAD USE!

The Docking Station Module does have locks included & a 4 bike capacity, nice friendly design.Weaknesses:
The thing shakes like the Space Shuttle on take off!Bottom Line: You must be a lucky individual to get the Docking Station to hold two or even four bikes securely on the back of your pick up. My wife purchased me a Docking Station for my birthday and I had to take it back because it rattled and I thought that it would dump our bikes at anytime. I attempted to adjust my hitch incase that was the source of the problem, but it was not. I decided to get the Yakima TerraGate instead. It was more expensive, but I have not regretted that decision on day since.

noneBottom Line: I am talking about there new docking modules, that lets you change the top part, and docking station, it is a 2 inch mount it goes in the reciever and there is a anti ratling bolt and then a lock, this system is bomb proof i have it mounted on the back off my ranger pickup it does not move,AT ALL period.blows yakima rack'it away

Bottom Line: The Docking Station 925 is the only rack I could find that I could mount my V-frame C'dale on without having to remove a wheel or mount it on the roof. It holds a bike by the crank arm and then in the front it clamps around the wheel. It's quick and easy to install on your vehicle, and just as easy to mount/dismount the bikes. There is a heavy duty Kryptonite cable and lock supplied to lock the bikes to the system. You can also get other models of Docking Stations to hold 3 or 4 bikes or skis, etc. The Mission Control/Docking Station system is the most logical, well thought out carrier that I've seen on the market. Most places are selling it for the full retail of $309. plus tax and shipping, but I found ours at Sports Rack, (online), for about $288. total, delivered. Why didn't somebody think of this before? Great set-up!
