Heavy

Commuter
Bottom Line:
Came with the bike when purchased (used). Sticks really bad so I took the fork off to service and man, this is heavy.
Not sure who should by this. Most road or commuters are not looking for suspension and I can see why at this weight.

Purchased At:
bike shop (w/ bike)
Strengths:
Works as expected. Durable, no issues yet whatsoever (street riding only). Adjustable pre-load (I like it pretty firm, just to smooth over the occasional bump).
Weaknesses:
Heavy, but no more so than over suspension forks.

Bike Setup:
Giant Cypress LX (hybrid)
Bottom Line:
Good product that is durable for street use and works as expected. It has a pre-load unlike the most cheap suspension and this is essential for the minimal amount of suspension I want for the street, on a hybrid. This is designed for the street, that's why it is called the 'metro', get it. This is just right for anyone that wants a suspension fork for street use. I'm still debating how much benefit I'm getting over a normal fork, though.
