Strengths: It's stiff on the side to side play, and it track good.
Weaknesses: There's a little fore aft play in the fork legs. Not very Plush
Bottom Line:
The first month I had this fork I thought I had washed my money down the drain! The fork had a tiny amount fore aft play, it felt like my head set was a little loose. But I have been pounding it for six months and it hasnt gotten any worse, I dont notice it on the trail. The air cartridges are working fine, I dont know what people are coplaining about. They do lose a little air over a weeks peroid but nothing bad. I weigh 190 and the fork is very stiff, I excels in the technical stuff because it steers so good. It's not a plush fork, but it has won my confidence, and it's great XC fork. J

Bottom Line:
I'VE HAD A FEW PAIRS OF ROCK SHOX AND THEY FLAT OUT SUCKED . I NEVER IMAGINED THAT A FORK COULD WORK SO SWEET. ALL OTHER FORKS I'VE TRIED WERE LIKE WET NOODLES. THE WB IS SOLID AS A ROCK. WHEN THE BARS ARE TURNED THE BIKE REACTS,NO DEFLECTION,WOBBLING. IT'S JUST POINT AND SHOOT. IF YOU CAN'T GO FAST ON THIS FORK THEN YOU JUST CAN'T GO FAST!!!!!!! IT'S A FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Strengths: Super stiff. Great seals. Light. Easy to overhaul.
Weaknesses: Needs more TLC than average: fill air cartridges frequently. Travel is closer to 55mm. Custumoer support. Mine was not originally assembled correctly.
Bottom Line:
Excellent for a racer or someone who enjoys frequent fork maintainance. Easy to tune, especially the spring stiffness (just adjust theair pressure). Stiffer than SID, Manitou. Mild stiction (GREAT seals) which never bothered me and probably would go away if I had installed the included foam wiper set. 3 stars for a rec rider like me, 5 for a racer. I'm selling mine because I bought a z80 atom bomb - less maintainance for this lazy boy.

Strengths: This fork is fairly light, laterally rigid, works well with the stock set-up for most riders, maintenance is fairly straightforward, E-Z peel stickers (I like the "stealth" look), actually has stayed fairly clean even after a winter riding in W Oregon
Weaknesses: A little maintenance intensive considering the competition, however, the performance is better than the competition, in general, the machined pieces on the arch to hold the brakes in position cracked under initial mounting on this and my SC70, poor design!, expensive.
Bottom Line:
Good overall fork, not for the maintenance declined, you have to work on this fork, if you buy one, take it apart, lube everything first, understand how it is built, then you know what is going on and shouldn't have any chili reducing problems. I would buy this fork again for me but I would buy a 'Zoke for my kids because they don't work on their bikes much. I think their service is OK but the experience seems So Cal based and they don't know much about wet weather riding, so their advice isn't so good for me. I have had few problems with the air springs but you have to take them apart and clean and lube them, you can't just ignore them. If you do all of the above, the fork will work with no stiction, the air springs will only leak over 2-3 weeks and then only about 20lbs. They should ship a pump with the fork for the amount that you pay otherwise add $25 to the price if you are thinking of buying this fork.

Strengths: Good dropout to crown length giving quick steering. The stanchions are also very large giving incredible rigidity. No problems there.
Weaknesses: They do not work. As stiff as they may be a suspension fork must go up and down with SOME travel. These do not. After three months of fettling and riding hard they do not do anything except weigh the front of the bike down. The biggest waste of money I have ever experienced. £600 for rigid, HEAVY, forks with no pump. Not as light as claimed by a good half a pound. Don't bother. I have even switched to Rock Shocks because of the experience.
Bottom Line:
Quite obvious. It may be that I just got one of a bad batch. My experience has sorely damaged my previously excellent thoughts on a small, progressive, company.

Strengths: lite weight, steering response, good mud clearance
Weaknesses: rapid wear bushings, leaking air cartridges, lots of maintenance, poor low amplitude performance.
Bottom Line:
compared to all other xc forks when new this fork is miles better in steering responce and under hard braking. the bushings do wear our reaaal fast, and this obs affects the steering. does routinely leak air occasionally mid ride or under big impacts. eg long rough downhills and airtime. is pretty lite although does require lots of maintenance esp in bad weather.mud clearance is good, better than most. action is poor over the small stuff, okay in mid range, and kinda bouncy over large high speed, kinda lessened by steering response. overall if you dont mind lots of maintenance they're good as long as the bushings last!!

Strengths: steering precision
Weaknesses: maintenance hassle, not supple enough for me
Bottom Line:
a great race fork, too much hassle (maintenance) and not plush enough for technical rock riding back on a bomber (z2 xfly) the Z2 Xfly _performs_ way better but is a bit heavier and taller, not the best fork for a hardtail
Weaknesses: labor intensive no boots leaky air hassle to adjust expensive
Bottom Line:
Needs to be torn down once per week to keep it working smoothly. Perfect for the paid racer, lame for the rest of us. Had poorly-built cartridges which leaked like crazy until rebuilt. Cartridges squeek on compression on faster settings and have tight spots mid-stroke. No external adjustments. Required home-made tool or long screwdriver for disassembly(hassle) Too much trouble for the money.

Strengths: Its the best cross country fork made (that is if it would hold air)
Weaknesses: The thing won't hold air for more than 10 hours!
Bottom Line:
This would be a great fork if I could ever get it to hold air. It would be even better if I could get ahold of the company to complain about it. I guess they dont have enough time for there customers. If I could go back and buy a different fork it would be a SID. Rock Shox will back up there products and customers.

Strengths: Light, tracks great- plush and easy to service.
Weaknesses: Coating on fork legs wears off in time
Bottom Line:
Excellent performing fork- this thing steers like a dream. Super plush- at least until the coating on the fork stanctions starts to wear off. I have had the fork for 6 months, and have cleaned it regularly, but the coating on the stanctions is wearing off. A call to White and I learned that they are puting a different coating on their forks now, so as it is still under warranty (a 1 year warranty) they said they will replace the stanctions. So I am still thrilled about this fork, and barring any unforseen problems with the warranty work I still can't say enough great things about this baby.
This is to update my review from March. I love the fork more each ride! It virtually resists bottoming, improves every aspect of handling, and is a breeze to maintain and tune. I did have to send it back to White Bros. for some warranty work, but the problem was a complete fluke and in no way indicative of quality control. They fixed the problem free of charge and sent me my fork back with minimal down time. I know the price is hard to understand if you don't own one, but you will not regret the purchase. This fork is motorcross technology shrunk for your bike!

Strengths: rigidity appearance ease in changing compression
Weaknesses: weight difficulty in changing preload Quality control
Bottom Line:
Fork seems to have a pretty high degree of stiction. It feels very rigid. No flex or twisting on rocky trails. Weight is not as advertised. Mine weighs 3.29 pounds with steerer tube cut to 190mm. Upon dissassembly, noted that it had too much oil, and is missing one of the bottom out bumpers (orange squishy things). Brake mounting shaft was improperly inserted, causing breakage of the machining designed to keep the shaft from rotating. THe jury is still out. on this thing. I like the way it looks. I like how solid it feels. But I'm not sold that it is as smooth as my XC with Speed Springs and a Reese Racing cartridge. Minus one for weight, minus one for quality control.

Bottom Line:
Sweeeeeeeeeeeet fork. I sure didn't feel that way about the Answer Manitou SX Carbon fork I had on prior (see review by Bomber Bob). This fork tracks like a Cheetah. Spoke with support about various questions I had when I first got it. They spent 20 minutes of quality time explaining, in great technical detail, valuable answers to each of my questions. Try that with some of the big names (like Answer...hehe). Once I broke it in (10 hrs), set the preload and air pressure for my riding style, single track is now scary fast! Fork doesn’t bottom out easy. Technical climbs are very controlled due its super light weight. But, it’s not “stupid light” like other forks I’ve tried (can you say “Manitou SX Carbon”?).
