Strengths: This forks soaks up bumps, it's light and didn't cost me too much. It has a very nice feel on fast heavy washboard type of stuff. Big stanchions don't flex too much
Weaknesses: The big stanchions are great froma flex standpoint, but I have to run a little washer on the axle to prevent my disc rotor from rubbing on the fork. the adjustment is a pain in the ass because internal spacers are required. Bobs a little out of the saddle
I really like this fork, and since I got it for only $150 off of MTBR I am not going to complain about the price for what is a normally expensive fork. This guy eats up bumps at high speed, and has saved me on numerous occasions. the big stanchions are nice, and the use of a small washer is not too much of a pain in the butt. The adjustment is the only real pain, but once the fork feels good, there is not much need to do a lot of adjustment. This fork has not had too many problems, although it has been rebuilt once. (it made it way better). White Bros were great when I needed new brake posts for the fork (no cost, immediate shipping). this is a plush light fork, it is comparable to a lot of air forks on the market in weight but feels better than air. I'm going to have to give it 5 chilies for value ($150 for a fork with only 100 miles was too good) and four chilies for overall rating because of the adjustment.

Strengths: STIFF!!!! Tracks great if the you keep the seals clean. Fairly light weight for a coil/oil fork.
Weaknesses: You MUST use fork boots on this fork (I have a 2000). Read below why!
If you don't keep the seals clean on this fork you will hate it. I won't seem plush because of stiction. I rode mine w/out lizard skins and I had to pull the fork apart and regrease it. After doing this twice in a short period of time I bought som Lizard Skins. I started storing it upside down and haven't had to lube the fork since (about 6 months). If you do this it will be plush and stiff. I like this fork a lot. You don't even know it is working. I watched my budy ride the bike and could see that fork a workin'. works great! 4 Chilies because of the need for boots!
Weaknesses: Everything. I've had nothing but problems with this fork. On the first ride, it felt wrong- not the sticky/break in period problem but something else that no shop could put their finger on. I sent it away and get new bushings. It felt fine for about a week and then started to feel really crappy. I think the seals are messed up because there are tiny vertical needlepoint scratches along the bottom parts of both stanchions. This fork really sucks. To top it off, I met a guy who had an AT-3 that failed on him. While doing a drop, both stanchions snapped. He knocked out 4 teeth, got a nasty concussion, and broke his nose. I'm planning to get rid of this fork....
DON'T GET THIS FORK!!! It was the worst choice I've ever made! Get a Marzocchi, they are way better, stonger and more dependable. This fork is no good. As a matter of fact, I'm about to package and send it back to WB for the second time right now.

Strengths: Plush, laterally stiff
Weaknesses: none yet, apart from constantly forgetting to store the bike upside down. That can make 30% difference to the sensitivity and overall plushness. Just got the 2002 modified seals in, seems much nicer. If you arnt storing upside down, try it, you will be surprised.
Love it, would buy another if I could find one cheap enough

Strengths: No Flex, All the travel you could ever need in a cross country fork, great for bigger guys,170-190, Will go up against the Bomber anyday, acceptable wieght, Not one complaint, Once set up this fork rocks
Weaknesses: Priced a bit high but it was worth it, I think they should come with an extra set of springs so that you don't have to order them, I wanted something a bit stiffer for my size, I am 190 lbs

Strengths: Good for medium to big hits. Good rigidity.Seems durable,so far.
Weaknesses: A bit sticky at the top end/lacks plushness.
I like the sturdy feel,it feels like I can abuse it without too much concern, but I guess only time can tell. It's alittle taller than other forks I've used. This seems to help my descents quite a bit.As for climbing it's probably hurt me a bit because I'm riding a bit too far back.I've remedied this pretty well by changing position a bit on the steeper climbs. Overall I like the changein position. My only complaint being that they seem to lack plushness on little bumps.Being 170lbs,I feel the stock springs are the correct ones for me, but sometimes long for softer ones on the small stuff.I'll put out another review in after Winter for their durability.

Strengths: Precision integrated bridge assembly, oversized 32mm stantions, wet bath lubrication, torque box crown, Easton steer tube It works as good as I had hoped
Weaknesses: Price might be considered a weakness but for a safe product made in the USA I don't mind paying a bit more.
A good product, I really have enjoyed mine so far. White Brothers fork service department works hard to ensure customer satisfaction and they will work with you on concerns or problems after the sale. I plan on buying anothe WB for for my other bike, maybe the FR3 or the DH2.
