Strengths: None.Weaknesses: The spring behind the U-Turn adjust. broke after less than two full seasons. (My third ShXXty experience with Rockshox Quality)Bottom Line: I already vowed to never buy another ROCKSHOX product but this great deal on a cross country Hardtail came around in 2003 with a Duke 65-130 XC U-turn andi said OK why not. Then into the second season the adjustment breaks for the U-turn. I replaced it with a good deal anyway on another fork from Marzochi, and left it lying around for one year. Then, I get the idea to sell it on the net claiming the adjustment is just a cosmetic fix. When the guy who wants to buy the fork says he needs to check it out a mechanic before he pays, I agree. Turns out the cosmetic adjustment is a broken spring which doesn't cost that much. But, the broken spring did so much damage after the break that the whole tube needed to be replaced and that brings the whole fix to a price you would never pay for a 3 year old fork (with only 2 seasons on it) THANKS AGAIN ROCKSHOX, THAT'S THE THIRD WINNER WITH YOU GUYS. Oh yeah, the shock is now on the recycling heap.

Similar Products Used: Marzochi and Manitou and I am happy with both and can say I never was able to Kill a Manitou shock after just 1 or two seasons which has always been the case with Rockshox. And after one year my Marzochi is doing fine.

Strengths: Light wieght, looks good, works great, easy to adjustWeaknesses: Haven't found any yetBottom Line: I bought this fork used. It's an 80mm Duke XC, with shrader valve on top of one tube and rebound adjuster on the bottom of the other. Not sure what year it even is.
It holds air, doesn't leak any fluid or air, has worked great since I"ve owned it. I only ride XC and it has performed just fine in all conditions and weather.
The fork and pump were well worth the $110 I paid for them.

Strengths: Definatly good for someone looking for a middle of the road fork to replace what came stock on their bike. Its strong and reliable and Ive never had any major problems with it.Weaknesses: Its difficult to adjust with the U-Turn unless you get off your bike, and it can sometimes stick with cold weather.Bottom Line: Really good fork if you dont wanna shell out the big bucks, Ive never had any big problems with it. Treat it well and itll do the same for you.

Strengths: Its a good fork, the u-turn travel adjustment is nice(from 63mm to 103mm in a few seconds)Weaknesses: could be a little beefierBottom Line: The fork is a good value back in 2003 but now it seems that rockshox is not really seeing the use of a light weight xc fork so the new ones arent very good but any older one is just fine.

Strengths: Relatively lightweight, 4" of travel, low cost, very easy to adjust.Weaknesses: None.Bottom Line: I have the Duke XC 100 and have over 1500 technical trail miles on it.The fork is very easy to adjust, all you need is a shock pump. Facing a long, steep climb, I add some PSI and spin smoothly. At the top, I let out some air, pick my line, and let her rip. The fork is easy to maintain, and I cannot think of another fork that is as light, durable, and maintainence free anywhere near its price.

Strengths: noneWeaknesses: Plastic dampening rod got out of work after a year. Same thing happened to a friend's Duke as well. Poor (in fact no) support from Rockshox. Don't believe the "aggressive xc" indication in the catalog.Bottom Line: The plastic dampening rod got out of work after 1 year. Ironically it is being advertised as an "aggressive xc" fork. Don't believe it. The local Rockshox distributor in Istanbul TURKEY had the replacement part in their stock but they rejected to provide me one, since I had bought the fork from the US. SHAME ON ROCKSHOX!!!

Strengths: Fork was relatively cheap at the time, offered what appeared to be all around usage at a decent weight.Weaknesses: Fork would not hold air, would have to inflate it before every ride. Eventually after a decent hit, would have to inflate it during the ride. RockShox customer relations was non-existent. I was told to swap out the valve stem, did, still broke. Finally go to the point where it would not hold air at ALL! Took it home and threw it in the dumpster. I probable won't buy a RockShox product again, instead bought a Manitou Skareb '04 with SPV.Bottom Line: Product was defective, and customer support was also defective!

Strengths: great rebound. it takes every small bump. great for cross country or racing. doesn't have many problems.Weaknesses: this product is NOT good for drop offs. i went off a five footer and UHHHHHHHH. it hurt. took it all then stopped short. it also has problems keeping the air pressure at a steady number. it often losses air.Bottom Line: not good for big jumps. great for every thing else!!! :)

Strengths: cheap, low maintenance, adjustable, stiff and it worksWeaknesses: on fast dowhills feels overdumped for lightweight riders;
and can they paste Rockshox stickers??Bottom Line: good fork for money, paid 139$ for 80mm (who would need more on hardtail?). Dumping seems to be tuned for heavier riders, and if you're lighter (140lbs or under) you'd get beat up in any setting but the lightest on long downhills.
Fork has been reliable, I used bike for commuting, epic rides and 100mi/enduro races. After ~8mo it started loosing air: valve leaked, had to tighten it up. If you ride in muddy or dusty conditions recommend to use Lizard skins to protect seals.
And no, it is not the best fork I have ridden.. but hey, you only pay 20% for 85% of performance

Strengths: This is an excellent fork! I have ridden it hard and have had no problems with it! Since it is air sprung, you can customize the feel. If you like a nice plush ride, it's got you covered. If you like a stiffer feel, you can do that to all by changing the air pressure. Less air pressure the plusher the ride will be. More air and it gets stiffer.Weaknesses: Doesn't have lockout but what do you expect from a fork in this price range? Rebound adjuster knob broke off.Bottom Line: This is a great fork! It came stock on my Fuel and I don't intend to replace it for a long time! Get one! (Or 2 for your other bike!)

Strengths: was cheap to buy. was ok until seals blew. warranty support top notch.Weaknesses: had for only 5 rides and blew out seals. then after sending back and getting back after 6 weeks...blew seals out again after 2 rides.Bottom Line: get what you pay for and this products durability sucks. should be noted that this was the duke C. i was pleasently surprised at the warrantied customer support of supergo. they took it back no problem and even after a year would warranty it for restock fee. i only put in 80# of pressure and i weigh only 160#. no gnarley dropoffs on these rides just plain hard riding.
