Stratos M3 01 Front Shock

Product Description

The M3™ is the entirely new, ultra lightweight, single crown fork created to meet the demands of competitive Cross-Country racing, as well as rigors of long weekend expeditions.

The M3 is not another "me too" lightweight cross-country fork, but instead a statement of pure functionality, durability, performance. The design of the M3's crown, brake arch, and sliders, provide unparallel rigidity, giving you superior tracking and handling.

The combination of the open oil bath damping, and the uniquely designed Stratos air spring system, provide weight savings, without sacrificing reliability, or smooth suspension action. All internal parts are machined to absolute tolerances, and are hard anodizes for low maintenance and durability.

Strengths:    Nice Photos

Weaknesses:    Made of electrons only. Lack of Protons and Neutrons render it as little more than 'vaporware'.

Bottom Line:
The purpose of this review was to see if MTBR would delete it (since Stratos is a part-time advertiser) and to mention the fact that the fork does not and never has existed.

This has nothing to do with its potential value, but the fact that distributors keep paying for ads about a product that is mostly non-existent and that riders keep putting deposits down (since 2001) for something that has no realistic expectation of coming to life (from Pro-E drawings) just kinda disturbs my sleeping patterns.

I give it the krappy 1 chili because of the bullshyt factor.
