Strengths: 30mm of travle light for its time it looks really cool and takes a load of pain off your hands.
Weaknesses: lock out doesnt really work all that well but i ride it unlocked most of the time anywayBottom Line: i Ride this fork on a fixie commuter bike thing lol! when i ever i go into a bike shop it attracts all the mechanics and lots of compliments on such a good choice. When used to couier in alexandria va all my courier buddys were jelious cause i could still pick up a beer at the end of the day without pain in my hands. This fork is good for touring or commuting its very low mant. and compliments almost any bike.

Strengths: Unique, stylish, good for rough roadsWeaknesses: Price, weightBottom Line: For the iffy roads near my house, it is wonderful. It came standard (wow!) on the 98 Circuit, so cost wasn't a big issue. As far as weight, I weigh 180-ish, and I could cut weight from me more easily than the fork. Biggest strength: going fast, and discovering a hidden pothole. The fork turns a serious endo into a jerk on the handlebars. Good insurance on unfamiliar hills.
Who should buy it: rich or first-time roadies.
Who should avoid it: die-hard roadie racers.
Favorite Trail: nearby hills

Strengths: Stiffness, bump absorptionWeaknesses: Weight, lock-out lever that doesn't, can mess with geometry, it ain't cheapBottom Line: The Ruby is a great addition for any "beam" bike where comfort is the goal. For long distances, great. For bad roads, better. For everything else, I swap on the Air Rail (or ride a different bike).

Strengths:
The fork is strong enough for a road bike.
With its elegant looking, shoch absorbing character...
It can make your hands feel better on rough roads. A suspension road fork will wow your friends.
Almost mentainence free.Weaknesses:
the lockout device which comes with this SL version is some how uneffective.
I can move up and down even if the fork is locked.
It's still too heavy for a road bike. A bit pogo when sprint or climb hard.Bottom Line: A bit heavy, but quite fancy.
Good for a sports rider. Or a roadie lived in the earthquake zone.

1 Year
