Strengths: Good All AroundWeaknesses: TravelBottom Line: I have had this fork for at least 5 years, it is still going strong. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it won't have the same RockShox performance as the rest!

Strengths: These Shocks are amazing, Everything works perfectly. There is not too much travel but enough for cross country.Weaknesses: weightBottom Line: These shocks are everything i wanted. They have provided me with many years of service. These shocks are have never failed or troubled me.

Strengths: xc fork for a budgetWeaknesses: lateral wag, compression adjustments don't do a thing, not enough travel even w/ 80mmBottom Line: This fork proved to bea very good performer. I've had it since 97 and recently started to do trials. Nice and stiff in its stroke so i don't lose any power doin hops. not enough travel to soak up big chatter bumps or even little ones. Good if you're doin light xc w/o racing.

no lockoutBottom Line: Just so you know, I actually own a judy xc.;, but this is the closest I could get.
this fork is very good in general. now, 3 years from when it was made, it is still an AWSOME fork, and very light(3.6 pounds with orginal setup), and needs almaost zero maintenance.however, there is one problem with the actual absorbation, which is that the fork has this little gap between when the inner legs are actually pushing down on the MCUs and when the damping pulls them in, and when you are going over small, close bumps, such as a rocky fire roads, the fork RESIDES in this gap and it is very annoying. this is why, even though it never bounces on uphills, it needs a lockout.also, do not take this on downhill rides. it only has 65 mm of travel, and I an sure the only resaon this does not bottom out on me with moderate XC use is because I weigh 120 lbs and it came with fairly stiff springs.

Strengths: havnt had any problems with shock. very cushy, and good colored. strong and light, yet very durrable. i havnt had to get this shock tunned or dramatically adjustedWeaknesses: minimum tention adjusting, a little too soft for trials biking (getting up, over, accross tables benches, and other large obsticals without getting off your bike)Bottom Line: the rock shox Judy C has held up to years of tremence pressure whil doing trials biking. it hasnt needed to be tunes yet, but the tention adjusting is minimum. i wouldnt recomend this shock for specifically downhillers, or spacifically "to and from school/work". cross country riders will find this shock just right
