Strengths: Great for going over HUGE rocks. can do 10 12 foot drops with no promblemo. rebound is great. with nice sexy springs. looks awesome in da sun
Weaknesses: need to take care of
Bottom Line:
Great ive been to whisteler with this bike. has great suspension ive tried fox 40's and they dont come close to this fork. Its such a great fork. i have a fox float in the back on my trek 3700. AWESOME FORK WOULD GIVE THIS To any of my pimping biddys.
They work fine for me, certainly better than a stiff fork. I have had my bike for about 10 years, and I don't take very good care of it. I have never done anything for the shocks. But I don't ride in much mud or water. I haven't used anything else, I think they are fine for a light weight, average ability rider...I am 5'8" and 135 lbs. I rarely bottom out, I am not an extreme rider but I take 2ft. drops all the time. I can see how some larger riders (most guys) would not do well with these, and to be honest, I am looking for an upgrade.

Strengths: Smooths curb drop-offs and staircases, looks elite next to rigid or walmart forks
Weaknesses: no progression, not enough travel, rubber pogo stick, flexey, sticky boots, does not absorb small bumps at all, bottoms out on big bumps
Bottom Line:
This fork is awesome in the parking lot on my initial test drive of the bike, but this is not surprising since it is my first suspension fork I have taken off-road. It makes descending staircases easier than my rigid fork, and it seems to have the right damping to soften landing from a curb. Taken onto a rocky descent, however, it is scarcely less hard on my wrists than my old rigid fork. Do not buy this for any reason unless you never ride over roots or rocks.

Strengths: It's great so far.
Weaknesses: The boots stick. I can't find any diagrams of the workings. The Rockshox website denies the fact that they ever made an Indy. (look for yourself. It's nowhere to be found.)
Bottom Line:
pretty good if you're my weight (180 lbs.) and are a novice rider with aspirations of becoming a legend DH and/or XC racer. Save for a new Cannondale, but have fun with your current bike. Happy trails!!
Strengths: cheap, low maintenace, some adustability.
Weaknesses: week, not enough adjustability, coldent get the boots to stay on the seals. can,t fit large tires.
Bottom Line:
they are what you would expect for a shock of that price, little travel, little adustment, not good for drops at all, I went off of a 2' drop and the wheel landed in a small hole, it bent the shock back into the frame, split the arch in half and sent me over the handelbars. I landed on my head with a large crack and rolled out of it, as a true rider I looked at my bike and got angry at the fact that I had broken my forks. only after i had gotton over the the agony of a boken fork did i relize there was a sharp peice of bone protudeing from my shoulder. i decided i should go to the hospital, good thing I was wearing my helmet! mmmmmmm morphine! well in any case if you live in BC and ride anything resembling the north shore or woodlot dont get these forks they WILL NOT hold up. for all you cross county riders and weekend warriors whose trails dont consist of boulder strewn and root filled descents, log rides, and 2'+ hucks and wickedly steep single track, these forks will be fine for you . NO NORTH SHORE FOR YOU!

Strengths: Cheap, good feel, low maintenance
Weaknesses: flexy, cheap shock boots
Bottom Line:
A good entry level shock. Some adjustability by changing springs or elastomers, and dialing-in compression. Don't buy it and expect it to take big hits or whine about no adjustability, if you do you should've bought a higher level shock in the first place. I've bottomed it a few times with no ill effects. The shock boots were the only bad part, they never seemed to seal properly, leading to grit between them and the shock tube. Still, a good budget shock for your first bike.

Strengths: it has lasted 3 years, and i dont really care what everyone else says about the fork, i take it off of four footers on a weekly basis and aside of bottoming out, (not nessecarily a bad thing) i have had no issues other then flex.
Weaknesses: flexxy, and it is not adjustable.
Bottom Line:
this came with my bike, and it learned how to ride with me. until just recently i used it daily and the shock did just fine. i wont say anything really bad about the shock, cuase it does its job.
Similar Products Used: jett shox are similar, but most shox do ride better.

Strengths: a good beginner fork (unless your josh bender, 20FT drop first year, ARGE) 3-4 Ft drop not uncommon. lasted 2 years, then (please refer to weaknesses)
Weaknesses: this skinney little fork rusted out on me, the booties trapped water and the stantions rusted by the end of the 2 yeat i had about 1- 1.5 inches of traval. I bottomed out so hard my wristst hurt. No ajustibility. suck.
Bottom Line:
they did there job lasted me long enough to save for another bike, they took some good hits and rocks.
Weaknesses: Strictly low budget, pogos up and down like Britney Spears breasts, sproinnnngggg! Good for Britney, not for a fork.
Bottom Line:
These things are actually better than the disaster called the Jett. Stiffer, a little bit more responsive and a little less flex. But let's be blunt. This is entry level, period. Unless they came with a bike don't bother. Want decent damping? A little adjustability? Forget it. If you can get them used for a second bike for around 20 or 30 bucks than these might be worth the trouble, otherwise get a bomber.

Strengths: durable, stiff, Rockshox decal
Weaknesses: a bit flex after 3 years abuse, not so comfortable, a bit heavy, no long enough travel
Bottom Line:
it's the first and the only suspension fork i have. very durable. but i think the inner parts had been changed before i bought it, all elastomers, no springs!so it's not so sensitive over small bumps... so i install a spring into the tube and i can feel the difference, more sensitive and comfortable now. its travel is too short. so now i am looking for a new longer travel oil fork. but i heard that new version folks are not as stiff as some old ones,is that true?

Strengths: they lasted 4 a while about 15mins.
Weaknesses: they bend and flex and snap right off the top tube with your front wheel. they also bottom out very easily and go sh%t in wet weather when u go off a 7.5 foot double with a gap of 34 feet. they are sh%t on dirt burms and i would rathe hav a moto4.
