Strengths: Durability, stiffness, smooth travel and reboundWeaknesses: NoneBottom Line: 2ND REVIEW: (first review was two years ago)
I'm a 225lb "Clydesdale" who's used this fork a ton over the past two years. In that two year period I've only had to put more air in it ONE TIME. The seals don't leak and it hasn't required one bit of maintenance. The stiffness and smoothness of travel is incredible, but what's really incredible is the fork's durability. If you can get your hands on at a decent price, don't hesitate!

Strengths: Extremely stiff, light weight, disc brake compatible, durabilityWeaknesses: Bob doesn't know it exists......(c'mon Bob!)Bottom Line: HUGE improvement over my Judy C. This fork does not bend when you're torquing on the handlebars during a steep uphill climb. Works awesome with disc brakes...no brake pads to rub on the rims during climbs and corners. Adds confidence in high speed corners because it is so laterally stiff. I weigh 220lbs and really beat the heck out of this thing on jumps, stumps, logs, rocks, etc. and it always comes back for more. But, because of my weight, I don't think I can actually get the full 80mm of travel this fork is capable of. I have it set up at high air pressure so it won't descend into its travel range once I hop on my bike. Because of this I know it doesn't travel the full length that it's capable of. On the other hand, at this pressure it has never bottomed out on me. It works great on jumps and downhills over obstacles. I set it up at the air pressure I wanted it at almost two months ago and after about 40 different riding sessions I haven't had to make one single adjustment!
Bottom line: One of the main reasons I bought my Zaskar was because this fork came stock with the bike. The rest of the bike rocks, but this fork definitely is one of the bright spots in the overall package. I know it's quite expensive ($600) if you buy it separately, but if you really just have to have a cutting-edge fork, this is the one!
Value rating: I'm giving it 5 flamers because it came stock on my bike, others may disagree with its $600 price tag (which costs more than both of my last two complete bikes!).
Overall rating: I love this fork!
