Strengths:    Very Plush, Stiff, Adjustable & TPC+.

Weaknesses:    Short Travel, Bottom Out(Not really only with 6Ft Above Drop or Jump, Because it have TPC+)

    Bottom Line:
    Best Freeride & DH
    Light and easier to control.
    Excellent fork, Not really Expensive.

The weaknesses is short travel, 120mm travel only.
This fork will bottom out, when more than 6ft Drop with TPC+

I have break the Damper Dropout Nut, This is because I jump down 2Ft stair and suddenly the Rebound button and the nut fall out. I so afraid that I can't get the nut anymore, why I'm so afraid? This is because the fork was 2001 model, and my dealer also don't have the nut.

So I make my own decision to get the nut direct from Answer Products.
Answer Products really have the best services for customer.
I really appreciate it, They sending direct to me, even I live in Asia.

So don't need worry for the parts and model.
Really Worth it to support Answer Products.

Firm kit works wonders...I weigh 185 & it's the bomb...Totally plush w/o bottoming out...I use it pretty hard & it holds up wonderful...3.5' urban drops no problem..Fast hard DH will pound you although...I recommend use it for freeride & light DH w/ some urban thrown it ..& at only 4.5 pounds it's also XC worthy !!!!

    Strengths:    Very plush. Good looking

Weaknesses:    Too soft. 5 inches of travel

    Bottom Line:
Good fork for free riding. I am 150 lbs and i bottom out on like 3 footers, not horrible for their plushness but this is not a downhill. Thinking of changing to the Marzocchi Jr. T's. $600.00

    Strengths:    adjustability-stiffness

Weaknesses:    1/2" too little travel--Needs to be 5"

    Bottom Line:
Good fork. If it had 5" i would like it better-I'm getting 4.5"...Tapered area on the crown area(Legs) only allows a certain amount of head-angle tinkering up/down...Great fork for the money! Why did Manitiou discontinue it??I give it a 4 star rating(overall)-it's a solid 5" travel...

Strengths:    stiffness, strength, response to big hits, adjustability...

    Weaknesses:    none so far...

    Bottom Line:
really nice fork that can take abuse. hard to ride xc, but anyone who wants to with this fork is a fool. I like it for drops up to 15 feet, and it's good when you point it down a rough trail. Its a great freeriding/extreme trailriding fork...

    Date Reviewed: July 2, 2001

Strengths:    Plushness, adjustability, good looking, light, excelent for hardcore free riders.

Weaknesses:    I wish it would have more travel, but it's ok. Adjustability of crowns, NO 20 mm axxle! NO negative travel, please we are in 2001!!!

    Bottom Line:
In general, the fork works very good, and makes much easier to go through technical trails. It eats almost every bump on the way, and is very good on drop outs (for the price I paid ). Maybe it's not a completely Downhill fork, but I use it doing downhill and I've never had a problem with it. If you want a very good fork at a relative low price and you are a rookie or intermediate downhiller, you should buy this fork, but if you're an advanced downhiller, you should buy a better fork, because this one doesn't have enough travel and won't work as an expensive but very good fork like the Rock Shox Boxxer, Monster-T, etc.
