You want a fork that's easy to work on and customize for your riding. You want a Marilyn. Strengths: Strong fork 40mm santions inverted rebound and compression adj. light , just under 7 lbs 8 in of endless travel
Weaknesses: a bit flexy, but it is to be expected with an inverted fork the seals could do a better job
Bottom Line:
great fork for the cash will race it dh next season so, not sure how well it will fare under extreme dh'ing i have been doing fr with it for the past few months, bigest drop was 7', used 7' of travel, i may get lighter springs for next season this fork can take some punishment, i am 6-2 200lbs

Strengths: huge legs, stiff, light
Weaknesses: bushing problems, stiction, axle a real pain to get out,
Bottom Line:
crappy fork, would be alright for hucking but trying to do dh or some nice smooth freeriding on these things is impossible. the stiction is just nasty.

I have to agree with Kidquicks review,He pretty much says it all and then some.
My first reaction was I was sent the wrong Forks! I could not belive my eyes when I saw the CARBON STANCHIONS This stuff was reserved for Factory Guys Only. I was so happy when I pulled them out of the box. and even happier when I road them. full curbs not even a problem or planters or etc. you get the idea. For the money This has to be one of the best deals around.

Strengths: Easily servicable, stiff, sweet looks
Weaknesses: Axle is a pain to get out
Bottom Line:
I had this fork on my Kona which I sold earlier this year and now I have a Da Bomb Mindbomb with the same fork. My only complaint is that there is no independant compression damping adjustment. It seems like as you increase rebound the compression increases as well. Other than that I have no complaints. This fork is super easy to service. My one recomendation is to immediately remove stock grease and use Slick Honey. It will make the fork so much smoother and more plush.

Weaknesses: scrap the QR20 and go straight 20
Bottom Line:
Its sick. Its just...dang. I dont have enough good things to say about it. When you hit rocks that are about tire size and the fork soaks it up and goes right over it...all All I can say is...dang. I'm 6.3 and 230 and this fork loves me. I hit a 30 foot gap to flat and landed front first and road it out... This fork is fricking ridiculous its so good. Ask anyone with a Boxxer, Shiver, Dorado, Monster or anything else to try this fork. See what they say. They will say "dang this "B**ch is plush... and its how much again?"
My Marilyn,
"She's tight. She looks good. She feels good. Her legs are thick and her up and down motion is so sweet. She likes to go hard and fast. And even though having 8 inches makes me want to hit that big gap again and again, she's even more responsive to me when I go down on her. She's the best I've ever had." - Kidquick

Strengths: SUPER PLUSH, VERY LIGHT, EXCELLENT REBOUND CONTROL. VERY EASY TO SERVICE.
Weaknesses: NOTHING. THIS IS NOT A WEAKNESS, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOME STANCHION GAURDS ADDED TO THE FORK. THE LIZARD SKINS BOOTS WORK WELL, BUT IN A BAD CRASH IN A NASTY ROCK GARDEN COULD PUT SOME NICE DIGGERS IN THE STANCHIONS.
Bottom Line:
I NEEDED A FORK THAT WAS LIGHT, BUT STILL GOT PLENTY OF TRAVEL. WHEN I FIRST HAD THE FORK INSTALLED THE SPRING SET UP WAS WAY TO STIFF. GARY AT PRECISION BILLET HELPED ME OUT WITH SOME CUSTOM SPRINGS. THE FORK WORKS AWESOME NOW! IT WAS A COMPLETE CONFIDENCE BOOSTER KNOWING I COULD LAUNCH THINGS TWICE AS BIG AS I WAS BEFORE AND NOW I HAVE THE SUSPENSION TO SOAK IT UP. I JUST GOT BACK FROM RACING DOWN IN MOAB ON THE MOAB RIM. THIS COURSE IS A VERY BRUTAL COURSE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM, IT IS A COMPLETE ASSAULT ON BOTH BIKE AND BODY. MY MARILYN TOOK IT ALL IN STRIDE, THIS ALLOWED ME TO LAY OFF THE BRAKES AND LET IT FLY. I TOOK FIRST IN THE EXPERT CLASS, THANKS TO MY MARILYN! I AM COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THIS FORK. I WOULD RECOMEND IT TO ANYONE LOOKING FOR A LIGHT WEIGHT LONG TRAVEL FORK, ESPECILLAY FOR MY FELLOW DH SISTERS. THANKS AGAIN GARY!!!

Strengths: 8 inches of relatively light double crown fork....built to last ,and it reaks quality all over the thing
Weaknesses: none so far but don't expect any
Bottom Line:
great fork out of the box....even better once broken in a bit.......first test was in Colorado this summer while at world cup.....it preformed flawlessly and bailed me out of a few big drop ins !! and why can't other fork manufacturers make "idiot proof" compression and rebound knobs...this is one of the reasons i tried bombshell forks. the guys at precision billit are willing to take time and talk to you and have always been helpful....hopefully i won't need to call them on service issues but if they are as straight forward with warranty stuff, it will be all good. great performance, weight, quality (no twisting !!!), simple control knobs(external) ......try this fork...oh yeah, price !!!!!!
Bike Setup: 2000 dare, marilyn fork, stratos helix pro rear shock, answer, race face, sun and other misc. stuff....i also have a "daBomb" down hill bike with a marilyn on it ....can't beat the price for a beafy downhill rig....the web site doesn't do the bike any justice !!
