Strengths: Strong, good clearance, STIFF, priceWeaknesses: weight compared to others(if you care)Bottom Line: No more brake squeal, awesome brake power, and really increased fork stiffness. Should fit any tire up to 2.4" (Tioga 2.3" no problem). If you like to do front tire wheelies get one.

Bottom Line:
Using 98' Diacompe DP-7N Levers with Diacompe VC757 on my 98' FSR Frame had very little flex. But when i upgraded to XT Levers, the added power of the lever caused noticably more flex to the stays so I put on the booster and it feels stiff again. The red also looks great in enhancing the highlights on my bike and makes the rear stay and brakes look beefier. Didn't really do too much for my bike but on some of those forks such as the RST-281's, they work miracles to eliminate flex. On those forks, the brake bosses can be seen flexing inwards from a mile away! ok, I'm going off topic but the booster is a simple product and works great to reduce mush and frame/fork fatigue from braking. I give it 5 veggies.

Bottom Line:
Finally got rid of that mushy feeling on Quadra 10. Works perfect and stiffened up the fork a LOT. Lots of color choices but the orange matches my frame best. Does what it's supposed to and was cheap. Not that heavy either. Nice piece of simple engineering. A brace... nice though.

Bottom Line:
It works well for cantis, stopt most flex with LX V's with XT's it helps a lot and with maguras, if prevents the chainstays from brakingits good for simple rolling cross country, but I use my for DH and I have two of them just in the back and they seem to work just as good as a carbon booster but lot hevier and much cheaper

Bottom Line:
Hey, it's a brake booster.
..a little thin compared to some, but still
a brake booster.I've got one on my Manitou and it has a postive
effect. They're pretty light and come in colors.If you need a real brake booster for trials, look elsewhere.
If you just need a little more stiffness for a XC rig,
get one!

This thing is awsome! It makes my XTR v's work great. It prevents flex
and doesn't make pulling back on the levers so squshy, just firm. AWSOME, FIVE STARS

I have an aluminum Gary Fisher Paragon that I upgraded to v brakes. The curve booster made my braking performance so much better and it looks cool too.

Bottom Line:
I've been running Curve brake boosters for almost a year now and love them.
In front the improvement is great, if you ride a Judy you'll notice a very
big improvement in brake feel. The design is cleaner than most, and works
equally well with V-brakes or standard canti's. I highly recomend them
for the front, however in the rear the improvement isn't so dramatic. Unless
you're on full suspension though, where the improvement can be significant
depending on your bike.

Bottom Line:
If you read my review on the FSX fork you know that I think the fork is a little bit flexy, and I planned on getting a brake booster. I purchased one retail (can you believe it?) and didn't pay too much. Installation was easy. The booster doesn't look too funky or tacky. The booster itself weighs very little but the hardware is noticeably heavy. Performance-wise the booster helps. I think it's worth the 20 bucks. The added weight is worth the slight extra bit of stiffness.
