from michigan Date Reviewed: July 8, 2000 | | Favorite Trail: | killington, island lake | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Strengths: | this is one of the best designed hardtails ever made - bulletproof frame that is from 93' and still uses the 1 1/4" headtube | | Weaknesses: | none - once you have to convert the 1 1/4" headtube to 1 1/8" using a king devolution | | Similar Products Used: | 92' cannondale m800, 93' cannondale m800, 94' cannondale m700 | | Bike Setup: | valiant ceramic rims with king hubs, grafton cranks with speedplay clipless, matiou mars, syncros ti bb, xtr deraileurs and v-brakes, gripshift, use sx post, lp riser bar with raceface neck - king hs | | Bottom Line: | i will never get another bike unless this one gets stolen or breaks!!! i just did a $600 conversion to go to 1 1/8" threadless and should be good for a few years there. old school still rules and i wont touch it till it breaks! | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
