from Lancaster, England Date Reviewed: January 25, 2000 | | Favorite Trail: | Dalby Forest | | Duration Product Used: | Less than 1 month | | Strengths: | Excellent value, bombproof frame, some good components. A good looker. | | Weaknesses: | Poor, overweight forks; budget cranks and front disc brake. | | Similar Products Used: | DMR Trailstar/Heavy Tools | | Bike Setup: | LX cranks & Judy Race forks. | | Bottom Line: | Ideal for both beginners and experienced on a budget when upgraded. Quality Tioga componentry and solid wheels make this bike excellent value, with a performance on par with more pricey bike setups. The Zokes forks make up a considerable weight of the bike and are well worth replacing for an upgrade. The front disc lacks the performance you might expect (perhaps not bedded in yet) but is sufficient. The bike has taken to doubles and t/tops with ease and I have complete confidence in the bike. Doesn't have the same level of flex as the DMR frame but performs as well as any other alu'n frame I've tried. My peers are impressed, one of whom rides a tricked out Cortina, so can't be bad. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I have had the bike for about 2 months and i have started to bend the forks all ready. What can u expect from a bike that u only pay £300 for? | Overall Rating: |
