$1500.00 | | Strengths: | Incredible ride quality, durable, low maintenance and when the right chainstay developed a hairline crack at the weld, Litespeed repaired it for free, even thought they knew the bike was purchased second-hand and it was built for Merckx. They said it was a manufacturing defect and that they stand behind their work! This is an attitude more companies should adopt. I probably have ridden this bike for over 15,000 miles by now. Titanium is easy to maintain, just wipe off oafter using, no fear of rust. Equipped mine with Dura-ace 9sp. sti. Bike is light, responsive, stiff where it needs to be (BB), bought very forgiving on harsh roads. Strongly recommend upgrading to a carbon fiber fork. Has greatly helped my climbing especially on long rides. | | Weaknesses: |
