from Toronto, Canada Date Reviewed: July 22, 1998 | | Bottom Line: | I found a pretty good deal in my second mountain bike in my TBL Tornado. And for the price, this bike is hard to beat. I got mine a couple of years ago. Full XT (V-brakes and all) except for the Cranksetet, Judy SL, Kore Stem, Syncros post, all on an Easton Elite frame for just under $2000. The bike is light, fast and climb like a mountain goat. I couldn't get a better bike for the money at the time. Given the weld is not as nice as a Rocky... but no major brand is as good as a Rocky. Silent Sports builds nice bikes with great specs. If you are living in the Toronto area, consider TBL as alternative to any of the major brands. TBL do not have a cheap bike in their line. Try one, I think you will like it!Whatever you buy, just keep riding! | Overall Rating: |
