$800.00 | | Purchased At: | Cycles Uk | | Strengths: | Good frame and fork, but the fork is a bit difficult to pump up because the valve is set in down in the top leg of the fork. Good componentry set up with full XT groupset apart from bigfoot cranks. Bigfoot componentry is good. Ritchey wheelset is very good on Deore hubs! | | Weaknesses: | square taper bottem bracket needs to be replaced for hard riders! | | Bike Setup: | 16" frame in black, XT gears and Deore Brakes, Bigfoot components include, stem, bars, cranks, seatpost. | | Bottom Line: | This bike is great for the weekend rider to hard trail smashers. Should be considered when buying a new bike, a great ride and very versatile.. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$550.00 | | Strengths: | Decent weight frame takes some air (not broke it yet). Handling is good on the muddy trails of the UK. Mega range gives go anywhere traction. Rear shock with air compression excellent. Whole bike a little on the heavy side but takes downhilling in its stride. | | Weaknesses: | Front Mech not upto the job along with the Poste Modern triple clamp front forks. Who's idea was it to stick the gear cables under the frame, in the mud they get gummed up, in the cold they freeze up. | | Similar Products Used: | Barracuda Eraser Raleigh Sub Zero | | Bike Setup: | Upgraded front mech to Shimano LX Upgraded Front Suspension to Zokes Pro DH triple clamp 90mm Brakes: Upgraded to Grimeco System 7 front disk Tyres: Continental Vertical Pro 2.3 rear, continental Explorer 2.1 front | | Bottom Line: | Does everything fairly well, due to its weight the BLITZ will never be an outstanding fast dust track Hill Climber but when the mud is upto the axles it'll drive you past the lightweights. Cross country again not the fastest acceleration, but again on the thick stuff you'll be up with the best. Downhill, willing and able takes the 3-4ft drop-offs with slight bottoming unless you have set the suspension to hard. With a few upgrades not only do you get a bike that looks the part but will do its job, get you through almost anything and be a whole lot of fun in the process. Just watch out for those exposed gear cables under the frame- especially in freezing temperatures. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$700.00 | | Strengths: | Excellent Handling when fitted with Tioga Factory Downhill 2.3 . Suberb rear shocker, with more than sufficient travel on the triple clamp forks fitted to my 2000 Ltd Edition. | | Weaknesses: | Ltd Edition was fitted with a low quality shimano derailluer. Because of this, the gears would slip after a couple heavy landings. | | Similar Products Used: | Saracen DTox, Havoc, Raw all 99 versions. | | Bike Setup: | After my modifications: Planet X headset stem, saracen bars, shimano big 1st cog, dunno the name derailluer, sporty DH front forks, shock works rear shocker with air compression. | | Bottom Line: | An absolutely suberb ride, get it upgraded a little and lock the twat up, mine got nicked. Buy one, If u get the chance email me, i'll buy it off ya, 600 quid waiting. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

I push the bike a lot harder than an other I've rode around my trails and light enough to pull some air over the stump jumps. The general feel is of a large BMX brilliant, BLITZ is also good for light street stunts and excellent for wheelies, on high drop outs, though I think bottoming out would be a problem, and lastly the awful colour of the forks and back part of the frame icky green. GREAT BIKE. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

They are stinking EXCREMENT. My maate bust his frame and he doesn't even do decent jumps, drop offs or any other hard riding. I also know of someone whose framse snapped ! Sodon't buy one. OK ? | Overall Rating: |
