Strengths:    Looks good, ultra burly, for how big a bike it is it feels easy to handle.
Pedals ok without platform, pedals extremely well with platform.

Weaknesses:    Heavy
Cable routing with SRAM derailers is difficult
High leverage ratio
Needs a a platform shock to pedal well

Bottom Line:
Awesome machine. Not a bad climber for what it is, this bike won't slow you down as much as you think when the trail gets flat or uphill. Obviously, it's still a 45 lb DH/FR machine, but the rider position is quite good for pedaling.

The push tuned shock makes a BIG difference in pedalling efficiency, it pedals on par with big FSR bikes.

Strengths:    Loads of Travel. Smooth Travle. Maintenence FREE. Adjustable Wheelbase, Head andge and BB height. Can Gazalodi jr. 2.6 tire, or Intense 2.7 with a little knob trimmming. Can accomidate 24" wheels. THE PRICE IS RIGHT!
Replaceable derailleur hanger/dropout built into design.

Weaknesses:    ??? Well, it's not a linkage bike, like an Intense, but then again it doesn't have the problems associated with linkage bikes-such as bearings wearing out, derailluer slapping on chainstay, Non-replaceable hanger. And it's half the price.

Bottom Line:
There are two bikes that stand out when I go to DH races: M1 and Super 8. The M1 is an awesome bike but expensive as hell - twice the price for the frame alone. The Super 8 works great and needs little maintenece and is HALF the price of an Intense. I owned an Intese but had to fix it more than I cared to.
