from Waterford, MI Date Reviewed: September 23, 2005 | | Favorite Trail: | Highland Recreation, Michigan | | Duration Product Used: | More than 3 years | | Price Paid: |
$140.00 | | Purchased At: | Sporting goods store | | Strengths: | It lets me get out on trails for now.... | | Weaknesses: | No suspension...... Only has 21 speeds.....Heavy, 35lbs with a seat mounted tool kit with all the goodies just in case | | Similar Products Used: | none just starting trail riding in 2005. Before that it was a neighbor hood pavement pounder | | Bike Setup: | all stock. Shamanio 200GS. Cro Moly frame and Fork. Cheap agressive tires cause the originals dry rotten from sitting cause neighbor rides are to boring.... | | Bottom Line: | I ride a very rough and techical trail and the bike has held up without breaking anything major(cross my fingers). Only stripped a headset nut so far. But that was a no cost quick fix thanks to Tread Loc Thread maker and Red Loc Tight. One thing I can say is I find the bike fit me great and shifts really good for cheap parts. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
