Strengths:    raleigh mcc9 carbon with Leader front shocks. Also has Control Tech neck.

Weaknesses:    carbon frame (maybe?)

Bottom Line:
I'm not sure if this bike has good components, so I'm looking for some input.

Strengths:    Takes the edge off the rough stuff

Weaknesses:    Nervous at slow speed technical stuff; too bad it's a Raleigh.

Bottom Line:
Rare bike. Affordable carbon composite monocoque frame, wt. 3.65lbs. Mine is a '96 MCC-8 (same frame as MCC-9). List $1350 - paid $900US. Anybody know the history of this frame?
Handles better at speed. Original bike setup had some real trashy parts. My best mods; Englund Total Air cartridge (that Judy was junk) & Avid Mag brakeset.
Only came with a 2 year warranty, so I don't recommend buying used. Mine's held up to moderate punishment. I've seen one that had a cracked chainstay, repaired & still being ridden.

Strengths:
Gorgeous Blue Bike! Very stiff and agile!
Got it at a great price!

Weaknesses:
Very stiff on my heiny!!!

Bottom Line:
This is a very hot bike to look at!!! If you dont already have hemeroids - YOU SOON WILL! It's really not that bad on your rump - I am just a little plump right now. TIP - GREAT BIKE, but not good for heavy riders.

Strengths:
So far, it has been a great bike. Absorbs even the biggest bumps and jumps, mo problem whether jumping 10' jumps or flying down 200' downhills...

Weaknesses:
Carbon Fiber frame flexes a lot, though my maguras are partially to blame for that...

Bottom Line:
Its the best hardtail Ive ever ridden, you don't get bucked off the seat after hitting bumps like you do on a aluminum bike, no real complaints, if you have a chance to get one, BUY IT!
