Strengths: Comfortable suspension, grips and seat, not too heavyWeaknesses: Gears and tire tubesBottom Line: A very nice looking bike that does'nt put a hole in ur pocket. Handles nicely but after a month of riding u lose ur 1st gear.Good for someone that enjoys riding and wants a decent bike without having to shovel out major $.

Strengths: Awesome handling, good weight, decent suspensionWeaknesses: WORST GEAR SYSTEM EVER. Brakes don't stay centered, requires constant maintenanceBottom Line: A good bike if your not going to be riding hard. If your planning on constantly jumping curbs, off roading or going fast, don't go with this bike. To be honest the selling feature of this bike is it's cool design, not it's performance

Strengths: None, it suckes so hard! I rode off a little drop, and then the cranks snapped off! What is up with that? Only people that cant drop, jump, or ride on skinny stuff, or do anything should ride this bike. IT is for people that ride on the road and dont do anything!Weaknesses: Everything, this whole hunk of SH*t is a weakness.Bottom Line: This bike is so bad, that i want to kill it! The person that made it should die! Please, do not buy this bike! For the sake of everyone, it licks. A k-mart or sport mart bike would be better!

Strengths: This bike has no strengthsWeaknesses: Theis whole bike is weak, i rode off a small curb and my frame broke. All the components are really bad, and the bike should be burned.Bottom Line: This is a really bad bike, and if you buy it new, dont pay more than $400, if you buy it used, dont pay more than $100. This bike is a hunk of steel with wheels. I hate it so much, i gave it to a homeless person. Anyone who thinks it is good is not a good biker and should die!

Strengths:
good drivetrain, dbl. butted cromo frame
durableWeaknesses:
cheap paint! fragile seat, heavy rimsBottom Line: nice bike for people looking for a good cheap ride, worth upgrading like I did, but I wouldn't leave it in stock form because I had trouble with the STX-RC shifters and front V-brakes, but other then that it works fine.

Strengths:
Cheap!!
Very nice looking frame (looks more expensive than really is)
Built in Canada!!!!Weaknesses:
Really crappy paint (it actually chipped when I flicked it with my nails)
Raleigh has the worst customer service on this planet....Bottom Line: It's a really great bike for the buck...(even though I got the frame for free, 'cuz of the other frame that I bent). Unfortunately, however, it took Raleigh 75 days to finally give me a frame...The frame was nice, I liked it, but most of the paint chipped off after about two months, and the frame started rusting amazingly fast. However, if you want a good low-end bike that you can bash around on trails, the Serengeti is a good bike to look at...it's durable, nice looking, and inexpensive.
