Favorite Trail:Chipinque
Duration Product Used:2 Years
Price Paid: $360.00
Purchased At:Target
Strengths:Maybe the best of this bike is the COST$$$ you are buying a full suspension bike for only 360$
Weaknesses:The components are not the best you can find
Bike Setup:Stock
Bottom Line:This bike gives you a lot of fun specialy in the Downhill, becouse when you try to climb the back tire slash a lot specialy when it rains, anyway I have this bike for 2 years, more than 2000 milles and a lot of crashes.

Date Reviewed: June 5, 1999
Favorite Trail:
saratoga gap
Duration Product Used:
1 Year
Strengths:
frame is awesome.....
cant seem to hurt it at all,ive rode this bike very hard.
Weaknesses:
stock components make bike weigh a ton.
Similar Products Used:
have ridden c'dale,gt,and specialized full susp. bikes and this bike is deff comparable.
Bike Setup:
only thing left on orig. bike is seat post, brakes andshifters.it now has manitou fsti forks, fox alps 4 rear shock(huge improvement over stock boinger)i hhave replaced entire drivetrain to shim. xt.
Bottom Line:this is a great bike that now weighs in at just over 25 lbs.....for around $1100.00!!!!!!!
i can easly keep up with all my buddys (when im not spankin em down hill!!!!) on their close to $2000.00 bikes,i took a lot of teasing at first but who got the last laugh now????????i have been 100% pleased with my $350.00 purchase from targetand have a truly awesome bike.....too bad some bike shops dont se it that way,i have some trouble at local bike shops trying to get serv.

Submitted by Scott a Weekend Warrior from somewhere, NC
Date Reviewed: May 26, 1999
Duration Product Used:
less than 1 month
Strengths:
Good components
7005 Aluminum frame! (very good welds)
Excellent Price
looks real smooth!
Weaknesses:
little heavy as are most fully suspended bikes
Similar Products Used:
Mongoose Hilltopper
Bike Setup:
yxTitan
TEK TRO V-brakes
Shimano SIS rear derailers
Shimano rapidfire shifters
Shimano Alevio brake levers
tranz x stem and handlebar extensions
Bottom Line:I was very leary to get this bike as it came from Target! but looking at the components and frame and lets not forget the Price! i decided to try it out since my HillTopper recently got stolen. I am very surprized by the performance of this bike so far. And full suspension is really nice which the Mongoose didn't have. I must warn though, this bike is sold at Target and Toys R' Us and they don't put them together as well as most of us would like so give the bike a good once over before you take it out on the trail.
Because of the excellent price to performance and components level i have to give this bike a 5
