Strengths:    Its hardcore! You can throw the bike into anything and it takes it! Great for developing your style! It builds a confidence within you to ride harder and faster, hitting bigger jumps n longer gaps! It looks the part aswell, that fat down tube makes the overall statement! 'HARDCORE'! Its just agreat lil hardtail!

Weaknesses:    Slightly heavy, but once used to this the bike seems floorless! Fit some big forks to it and your laughing!

Bottom Line:
They look phat, they ride hard and once you've had one you'll never want to go back! The Ms. Isle rules!

Strengths:
1- it's really, really stiff, the thing just will not flex around the rear axle and BB, this, once you're moving, it frickin flies.
2- The looks, this frame really is a work of art.
3- Instant confidence, you feel like nothing could stop you, you won't want to stop pedalling (it loves singletrack too).

Weaknesses:
1- it's heavy, 5 1/2 lbs is a lot for a hardtail frame however you look at it - you pay for it on the climbs.
2- it attracts a lot of attention, from people who know and from people in general, it pays to be paranoid with a bike as obvious as this.

Bottom Line:
If there were a modern hardtail designed for Downhill racing, this would be it. But wherever you use it, it's so much FUN - street, jumping, trails, racing. For me it's the ultimate hardcore hardtail and I couldn't bring myself to sell it, even if I just have the frame hanging on the wall as a Slime Green work of art.

I owned a GT Zaskar before, and am in little doubt that I would have broken it by now, I don't think any other hardtail is as bombproof as a Ms Isle.

Bike Setup:
I recommend getting a high-end crankset (eg. AC Lo-Pro/XTR BB)as the bike is so much stiffer than normal, it puts more strain on the cranks, apart from that, Marzocchi Z1's, Mavic 521's, DMR Chainguide, Fishbone Saddle (Tubular Cromoly), Shimano XT brakes/gears.
