Submitted by Wizard a Weekend Warrior from Scituate, MA
Date Reviewed: May 18, 2001
Favorite Trail:Wampatuck
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $269.00
Purchased At:Bradlees
Strengths:Shimano Derailers, Casette, RapidFires. REALLY Comfortable seat.
Weaknesses:Poorly adjusted. Crappy trail tires.
Similar Products Used:Giant Warp DS2
Bike Setup:Stock.
Bottom Line:Ran it for about a year without a problem. Spent a couple of hours tightening everything that was loose, adjusting the derailers, and upgrading the tires before it was ready to really ride. Replaced the tires with Big Kahunas (better than the Tyranoraptors on my Giant). Once it was properly setup it was worth the money. It's too bad that they couldn't tack on a few dollars and set it up correctly to start with.

Date Reviewed: March 29, 2001
Favorite Trail:Little Econ
Duration Product Used:1 Year
Price Paid: $200.00
Purchased At:Toys R US
Strengths:Cheap Price for this bike
Weaknesses:Suspension
Bottom Line:Can't find no specs on this bike or any information on it. Have a deflating problem with the back wheel. Over all you get what you pay for. If you have the money don't buy from a department store but go to a bike shop instead.

Submitted by Ric Figueroa a Weekend Warrior from Bronx, NY USA
Date Reviewed: August 4, 2000
Favorite Trail:Streets of NY (lol)
Duration Product Used:6 months
Strengths:Comfortable ride, very nice design, great braking, good shifting
Bike Setup:Mongoose D 500 w/ Shimano V-brakes & Shimano 21 speed gear system.Dual shoacks w/ Ballistic 105 fork in front and DNM suspension (adjustable) in rear. I added a pair of Big Kahunas (Trek)and a Kalloy Uno seatpost.
Bottom Line:I will not claim to be an expert biker but this bike is working pretty well so far. Great ride, feel and looks, too.I'm curious... Why can I find no info regarding this bike anywhere? Would like to read up on specs and reviews but can find none so maybe this is the first? Got it at ToysRus during their "May - Bike Month" promo and paid around $250. for it. People have told me that it is worth a lot more. Like I said... cool ride and the bike is very nice looking. Cool candy apple blue type color that really gleams..... So far it's held up to the best that can be dished out by Prospect Park, Central Park and Bronx River Park. I know this ain't hardcore riding but it's still fun!
