Strengths:
Super, er, extralight. Impeccable workmanship. Many sizes, including custom.

Weaknesses:
Sort of blah looking.

Bottom Line:
By far the best handling, climbing, descending, sprinting, comfortable bike I have ever owned. As a retired cat. 2, I have put lots of bikes through the torture of racing and there are many very good bikes out there. What a Merlin owner gets, though, is a product backed by a seemingly very caring company torward their customers. I had a problem initially with size after building the bike and Merlin customer service did everything they could to make the bike right. Sorry, but we can't help you just did not occur. Compared to the Serotta which is a comfy sort of ride, I'd say the xl is more of a racers bike. You will not be sorry by deciding on this bike.

Strengths:
Stiff, light, quick, etc...

Weaknesses:
Price.

Bottom Line:
Great bike. Likes to sprint and corner. The perfect criterium bike. Stiff, yet very compliant ride. Longer (4+ hours) rides do not wear on you as a typical steel and/or aluminum frame can. Definately one of the best bikes out there!!!
