Strengths: inexpensive, noleen shock, needle bearing pivotWeaknesses: swing arm near the bb and pivot will crack sooner or later, company out of businessBottom Line: this is a note for you guys who scour the earth for a good deal on a project bike, I personally know of about six or seven broken swingarms, from a group of maybe ten bikes, i assume the others will break in time, the deal was that a thin walled tube was welded to a thick section, this area is also highly stressed(near bb and pivot) the only recourse a person would have would be to get a new swing arm fitted$$$$$$$$$ good luck!

Bottom Line:
I am pretty impressed with this bike. For $1099 CDN it's a pretty good deal for
a full suspension bike. The components aren't that hot, Shimano STX-RC, but they
can stand some pretty hard riding. The rear suspension is well designed and
responsive, both in street and trail riding. I didn't notice any 'bobbing' when
riding uphill. The rear air-oil shock is adjustable, enabling you to tune it
quite precisely to your liking. I can't say the same about the front RST 381
Shocks, because they are simply too tight. They are spring/elastomer, but are
responsive enough when you pound them. They're adjustable by an allen wrench.
The way I see it, they can't have more than 2.5 of travel. The other problem
is the grip shifters (400's), they are a pain in the butt, and I already
replaced them with my trusty old DeoreXT Rapidfires. Other than the front shocks
and the shifters, I can't complain about the bike. Well made and not that heavy,
for a full suspension bike. Hey, it's a pretty good jump from a 4 year old
hardtail Maxam Traxion, which was falling apart the way I ride. I give it 5
chilis for the performance and rugedness.
