Submitted by Ian Nicol a cross-country rider from Atlanta, GA. USA
Date Reviewed: January 2, 1999
Bottom Line:
This is my Third bike. Moving from a Specialized Rockhopper to a Trek Y22 and now back to a hardtail Lightspeed Tellico. It is equiped with all XTR, S.I.D. shock, syncros seatpost , Kore handlebar stem, King headset, LP Carbon handlebars and Mavic SUP X517 w/VelociRapors ... This ride rocks! It has the fluidity of a full suspension bike over most trail conditions and the solid feeling of control in most all conditions. After four months of riding, the only thing I can pick fault with was the external cable stays have scrapped my knees on occasion but that's more my fault. Other people have ridden my Y22 then my Tellico and said it feels like a suspension bike...
