Strengths:    Great price. Light frame. If you don't want to spring for a Mantra, Karma is the way to go. A decent component lineup for the price and you get to tell people you ride a Klein (tell them nevermind the price).

Weaknesses:    The first thing to go are the Dia Compe brakes, they always fall out of alignment. Also if you load up the rear elastomer in a bump, it'll buck you like a horse on the next one. The Indy fork gets progressively stiffer throughout the ride.

Bottom Line:
Great value for a lot of full suspension fun. Get rid of the brakes.

Light, Strong, Relatively cheap,
nice looks, worry free bike.... 4.5 inches of travel, same main tube as Mantras, but fatty rear triangle that makes it looks like a Foes!!! VERY PLUSH SUSPENSION!!

Needs some upgrades when bought as complete bike, but the price compensates

Bottom Line:
If you don't have the Dinero to spend on an expensive Bike, and want something that looks, feels and (very closely) acts like one of those xxx thousand dollar bikes, this is what you need.
Of course, you also get Klein quality Aluminum oversized framing, very nice paint finish etc....A very strong bike, nice Downhiller and easy climber (regardless of the plush rear 4.5 inches!)I had a dream about a bike, Klein made it affordable... :)

MTBR Karma -- Long passion post with pics (X-post from Passion)

On June 11th my wife looked up from her home office and saw smoke nearby our house. Before her brain fully engaged, she ran downstairs and ran towards the fire to see if there was any chance she could do anything to put it out. When she saw how large the situation was, her brain re-engaged and she ... Read More »

MTBR Karma -- Long passion post with pics

I used to be a regular on Passion back in the early days of MTBR, but for the last few years I have been more active on the CO Front Range forum. As much as the CO-FR forum is involved here, Passion seems like the right place for this post. On June 11th my wife looked up from her home office and s ... Read More »

Flow trail karma

Grabbed a few laps this morning. Tons of people out having a good time. I spent some time watering and on my next lap...BAM! Somehow wrecked and snapped my valve stem insert. Thanks to the guys who had a pair of small pliers--I wouldn't have been able to remove the insert without them!!! I' ... Read More »
