Strengths: light for 4130 cromolly with a good 3" sus at the rear.
deltaliner downtube.Weaknesses: the full bulid is poor and lets the frame down.Bottom Line: nice xc frame as it will take the harder trails and the steel frame is strong enough to take a beating over the long travels. fames good the khs builds crap and god know why they put dh forks on an xc frame?!?!?

Strengths:
none except for the RST 381DH fork.Weaknesses:
componentsBottom Line: The frame and fork is okay. The components suck! The crank arm stripped very easy, the rear wheel will not stay true, the rear and front derailur are constantly needing to be adjusted, the tires won't grip, and the spindle bent. 2 people ride this bike me, 130lbs., and my friend 230ls. I am much ruffer on it than he is so weight is not a problem. I go to my trail on my TREK TR20 and he on his KHS. My bike is better for this riding! It's pathetic! I would junk this bike! If it were mine!

Strengths:
Bomb proof steel frame = cheapWeaknesses:
Bomb proof steel frame = heavy. Whoever said that the bike was light was wrong. Mine tops out just above 33lbs.Bottom Line: The bike is heavy. That's all you can expect form a steel frame. As for the components - the STX rear derailer has been giving me problems since the day I got it. But for the $500 I spent when it was brand spnaking new a year ago it does alright.

Strengths:
STEEL IS REAL!!! this bike kicks ass everywhere it goes, pretty light for steel.Weaknesses:
stx comp. needs upgrades to xt.Bottom Line: I bought the bike for $300 from my dad who weighed 200 lbs. and put it through hell on the red rocks, now its carrying half that weight and has a good life. One of the lightest x out there for the money andit's bullet proof.
