Strengths: i have had the knobby cross for over three years..its such a great handling bike, with what i think is the best cross fork on the market..the bike tracks well, has no funny quirks, and is comfortable all day long..it is capable of handling some pretty severe terrain .Mine is 21 lbs with some older campy chorus nine speed stuff and a threaded fork..i cant recomend chris enough..he is a super nice guy that builds a great product.delivery takes a while (month or so) but you wont be sorry..this is the only cross i have ridden that doesnt have toe/wheel overlap..Weaknesses: three years and still looking..the rear dropouts are fantastic but you cant use them with a wind trainerBottom Line: this bike is awesome, as is the company, make sure you get the fork with the frame..its to supple to pass up. put slicks on it and go for a road ride..ive done some 100 milers on mine its a great all day bike. It will show you that cross bikes can go alot more places than you thought..

Strengths: Mine built out to be less than 20.5 lbs but I got S & S Couplings on mine so I can take it with me. Fits super nice. Chris is a genius when it comes to fit. Handling is excellent.Weaknesses: Took awhile to get it and cost me a bunch ($450 for the S & S couplings)Bottom Line: This bike is rock soild, a whole bunch of fun and I can take it any where with no airline shipping charges. I had to make some parts to adapt it to the canti brakes as this bike was set up for v-brakes.
Would I do it again? The answer is a definite yes.I down gradede the value rating to 3 cillis due to the cost, therefor overall is 4 chillis.
