$1500.00 | | Purchased At: | from keewee nz | | Strengths: | keewee cromo 8 - its cromo, strong, sensible, smart suspension design, low centre of gravity. you can also fit a brake therapy floating rear brake. it has a long wheel base, which makes it very stable at speed. this could also be considered a weakness. the keewee chainguide is still working and hasnt dropped a chain yet (touch wood) | | Weaknesses: | lack of tyre clearance in the rear swingarm. that keewee have sold out are not making dh bikes or bikes manufactured in nz now. no international standard chain guide mounts. not a lot of clearance around the chain guide area and you its difficult to fit a twin plate mrp guide. maybe considered heavy by some but if your a bike breaker this isnt necessarily a bad thing | | Similar Products Used: | keewee dh 99, gt lts, marin quake | | Bike Setup: | 2002 monster t's (or 2000 5" z1's for freeride / xc), 521 or 321 rims (fr / dh), brake therapy floating rear brake, hayes hx9's | | Bottom Line: | excellent frame, would recommend. shame theyre not still making them. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$4500.00 | | Purchased At: | topshelf racing (frame only) | | Strengths: | strong as hell, really stiff, good warranty, pedals really well, good ride, adjustable seat tower, inspires to go faster | | Weaknesses: | for downhill none, for anything else its a bit heavy. Could do with a heavier spring on back, will be changed asap | | Similar Products Used: | specialised big hit, giant atx 1, giant team dh | | Bike Setup: | keewee cromo8 frame, jnr ts, hope m4s, doublewide on big un front, d521 rear, gusset pigmy cranks | | Bottom Line: | excellent dh frame, can be raced, strong as hell, well built, well designed and worth every penny. Backed up by quality service from topshelf. I want some shivers on mine as the back end tracks superbly and the jnrs don't do it justice, soon the be getting a back wheel to match the front too should be awesome with those 2 upgrades | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |

$1995.00 | | Purchased At: | The Bike Way | | Strengths: | The frame is 4130 Cromoly steel. It has zero flex. My crank arms are 1.5mm away from the stays and they do not touch. | | Weaknesses: | Long chain stays. Hard to lift the front to ease the rig over obstacles. | | Similar Products Used: | Turner DHR, Kona Stab Primo | | Bike Setup: | Marzocchi Monster T, Kona Bulge cranks, XT drivetrain, 24" rear with 3.0 Gazzalodi and 2.7" Love up front. | | Bottom Line: | Rock solid. Ride it. Don't worry about it. Go super fast. Don't try to throw it around if you are not in shape. | Value Rating: Overall Rating: |
