Strengths:    The 7 speed nexus internal rear hub shifts so smoooooth it's unbelievable. The nexus hub also doubles as the rear brake. I commute to work 22 miles one way and the ride is supple and enjoyable because of the steel frame and back-swept handle bars. I was lucky to pick this bike up in Minnetonka at the annual garage sale held at Tonka Cycle and skate.

Weaknesses:    I couldn't determine any weaknesses

Bottom Line:
For 3 summers I have used this quality bike by Gary Fisher and I will never let it go. Lightweight with a remarkable ride the Alfresco should never have been discontinued.

Wonderful city bike. Reliable and low maintenance. Light weight pieces can be added, and high pressure semi-slicks will improve personal performance.

Strengths:
Comfy! Really comfy!

Weaknesses:
A little heavy.

Bottom Line:
Love it! Dampened handlebar and seatpost make the bumps smaller, shifting is good. Overall, if it holds up as I expect it will, 5 stars! Got it from Petals and Pedals in Inlet, NY.
