Life-time guarantee on frame. Built for North Shore conditions. Distinctive looks. | | Weaknesses: | None yet. | | Similar Products Used: | Kona Kula Specialized S-works M4 Rocky Mountain Blizzard Trek 8500 Several FS bikes by Kona and Rocky Mountain Deep Cove Hummer | | Bike Setup: | Marzocchi Bomber Full XT Race Face Cranks and rings Mavic 517 rims | | Bottom Line: | What a sweet ride! This bike handles beautifully. It feels solid, like is was carved out of a solid ingot, yet the ride is not harsh. It loves to climb--has a very stiff bottom end that transfers all your energy into moving ahead. This is the best balanced and most solid bike I have ever ridden, yet it weighs in at about 23 lb. And it is a bargain. Too bad this bike isn't better known--it kicks the shit out of anything in its price range. This is definitely a 5-chili bike. Until I rode this one, I didn't know a bike could be so solid, yet ride and handle so well. | Overall Rating: |
