Strengths:    So quick and responsive!!! Aside from the obvious beauty that Colnago always provides, this bike feels, climbs and accelerates exceptionally.

Weaknesses:    None.

Bottom Line:
The best all around bike (comfort in and out of the saddle) with regard to racing, touring, climbing, and descending. The steel frame absorbs the majority of bumps and jarring qualities that an aluminum frame amplifies without robbing one of the true feel of the road.
If one were so inclined to race or ride with the intention of winning (in all aspects...performance, aesthetics, etc.) buy Colnago period.

Strengths:
Finely crafter Italian frame. Once I got past oggling the beauty of the bike, the ride was just as amazing. The straight bladed fork and the rear dropout adjustment screws can make this into a criterium destroyer. So far it has been predictable and not flexy at all for a 62cm frame.

Weaknesses:
The bike is too beautiful, guaranteed to make you narcisistic. This is not the lightest bike for the money, yet its tubing (Columbus Brain) has a great following in the bike industry.

Bottom Line:
This bike is a masterpiece, but that is not suprising considering all Colnagos are. The problem with owning them is that they are so expensive, if you can find a good deal on the web like I did with Gary Hobbs up in Oregon then skip from buying an American made road bike, and buy the real thing from one of Italy's best.
